The online photo that sparked a racist rant by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling surfaced today, just hours before the team was scheduled to play Game 4 of its playoff series against the Golden State Warriors.
The picture shows Sterling’s ex-mistress and a friend posing arm-in-arm with basketball legend Magic Johnson.
V. Stiviano posted the pic to Instagram, but took it down after Sterling blasted her for it and told her not to bring any black friends to Clippers games. (The photo was first obtained by TMZ Sports.)

I know that I will say things in private to a trusted friend that I would not want said in public, let alone a site like TMZ. I would also bet that 100% of us here on Free Republic have also said things in private that they would not want divulged publicly.
It’s a given that we do not know the half of what was going on in that relationship.
She played him and used him for her materialistic gain.
I am sure that he used her in ways that only he knows.

That crossed my mind,too. Owning the Dodgers gave him billions in TV $$, and now he’s shopping for his first love: NBA team. I wonder if this was just happenstance or was it leaked to TMZ for a greater purpose. Stay tuned...
I should add that my opinion;I don’t know for certain he’s shopping for an NBA team but the media has mentioned him as a likely bidder if it is sold.
Magic Johnson does not have a billion dollars to buy the Clippers.
His part in the 1.3B Dodger deal was about 50M.
This guy finally got bit by some bad karma and the media can't seem to find the pre-written facts to stick their crowbars in.
True. But they just got a gigantic multi-billion dollar TV contract;I’m sure his share value of the Dodgers, on paper, went way up.
As before, he will be the high-profile minority figurehead that will “lead a group” that will gain control.
He’s got something more important than money: LA friends who idolize him, and an image the NBA wants. imo
I doubt it. They paid about double what anyone else thought the team was worth.
