Joe Biden: I've met 'literally every' world leader
theweek.com ^ | APRIL 28, 2014 | Jon Terbush

Vice President Joe Biden loves to use the word "literally," though he's not so good at using it correctly. And on Monday, Biden revealed either that he still doesn't know when the word is appropriate, or that he's been zipping around the globe like Santa Claus, defying space and time constraints to meet every single head of state in the world:

Carrie Dann @CarrieNBCNews Follow At GWU, Biden saying he's met "literally every" world leader, "not because I'm important, but because of the nature of my job." 10:53 AM - 28 Apr 2014

My guess is Biden was not speaking literally, but rather was figuratively putting his foot in his mouth again.

Well, someone has to attend those funerals and deliver MREs. And the President just might need a timely distraction delivered by the Gaffe Machine.

Joe Biden: I've met 'literally every' world leader

If that doesn't scare the hell out of you, someone should check your pulse.

Sorry Joe, but that’s not a very impressive argument.
Obama and Hillary met a whole bunch of world leaders, too... and what good did it do America?

So you’ve met them. Therefore what? I never hear of these leaders asking to meet you again. They usually call Joe The Man Who Wasn’t Quite There.

Doughty, Joe (Joey Plugs) Biden, The Pride of Delaware, is to me in some way, the true symbol of this administration.

Of course, on one level this man is a blithering anus and a congenital liar. However Doughty, let us never forget that This is the Man Who Discovered Obama. It was Joe who "sold" the "...clean black man with no Negro accent ..." to the party way back when Obama was an obscure light-in-the-loafers Chicago pol with a lot of strange commie pals and no Birth Certificate. Then, Joe sold himself as a "mature foreign policy guru" to the rapidly forming Team Obama. Every foreign policy fluck-up of the administration is pure Biden ... that is, based on Biden's world view as a none-too bright child of an alcoholic household who flunked the 1950's idea of social studies and pretty much everything else, finally struggling through Law School.

This guy is pure Dumb Delaware, whose elderly residents all seem to come to resemble chickens (remember Frank Perdue) and who are all interrelated. Joe Biden became Senator-for-Life of this backward rump state on the votes of relatives. It's not that they thought much of him either, but that they just wanted him out of the state during the week.

He has a crucial role in this administration. He plays "Barbara Boxer" to Obama's Feinstein. That is, just as Barbara's job is ... or was ... to make Diane Feinstein look intelligent, Joe's makes The Magic Marxist Mulatto from Mombasa look smart by comparison. He is a brilliantly successful politician.

(Joey Plugs) has also turned himself and his family into mega-millionaires while in office. Dummie? Yup. But dumb like a fox.

When I think of Biden, Dan Quayle comes to mind. All the things they said about Quayle, they’re exponentially more true about Biden IMO.

It actually scares me to think of him having to use the nuclear football if Obama were to go south at some point.

In a wartime footing, this nation would be in serious jeopardy.

In your scenario of crazy like a fox for making sure the whole family was well healed, I wonder if the message is Biden is sly like a fox, or see any dumb bastart can do it.

It has been my take that it’s the latter. I could be wrong. I’m not back there and haven’t followed him closely.

I still find Biden intellectually, to be the the Gerald Ford of stumble fame. Biden seems to stumble intellectually very often unless he’s kept occupied and out of the sight of the media.

I wasn’t aware that Biden was involved with the Obama worship early on. That does make it a little easier to understand why he was chosen.

Biden seems like that drunk uncle you can never send home.

Biden talks like ‘meeting leaders’ is his bucket-list... “yes, met three on Tuesday - shook hands - one on Thursday... and Friday if I’m lucky, two more”.
