Question:
Is it still possible to return to Constitutional principles or is it about time to stick a fork in it?
Just asking.

Instead of a disability, welfare or unemployment check, they [GOP] should find a way to offer a job.
When did it become gubmint's responsibility to provide work/jobs?
Not that long ago it was a Dem who said, "Ask not ..."

It will be hard to get the so-called poor ginned up to come out and vote in Nov., especially without a black person running for top office, so the strategery is to switch the focus on the middle class white blue collar types because many of them WILL come out and vote in Nov.
The GOP needs to respond with a jobs (XL pipeline, e.g.) and tax cut message because those are what will help the middle class the most.

The great advantage of being a liberal/progressive in America is that you are always judged on your intentions.
The MSM proves it 24/7/365.
