LONDON -- Russia has accused the United States and NATO of what it called "provocative" statements as the crisis in Ukraine unfolds alongside a NATO military build-up in eastern Europe. Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts are continuing to seek the release of seven observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, who are being held by pro-Russian gunmen in eastern Ukraine.

Transport planes brought about 130 U.S. Army paratroopers to Estonia on Monday, part of a NATO show of force in eastern Europe. Several NATO members have sent warplanes and ships to the region.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday the military build-up was accompanied by "provocative" statements about the need to "contain" Russia.

Hey Vlad, its always “provocative” when someone interferes with your INVASION PLANS......

Are we supposed to conclude that YOU are not the aggressor in this episode?

This (President of the United States of America) in the White House is going to get some of America’s best killed.

He's done it before and he'll do it again.

Last sentence of yours: Benghazi?

Obama is the master at doing too little, too late, as in sanctions against Russia, for one.

Syria: too little, too late. And when he was going to act, it probably would have helped not Syrian FSA, but other, very bad elements in Syria.

Only Obama could turn Egypt, which was more pro-U.S. than it is now, to being more pro-Russia than it was before.

We need to stay out of this...

People can say what they want, but Ron Paul is right on this. I don't agree with him on many issues, but on this I do.

If USA does not want Estonia in the NATO then the time for saying no would have been 10 years ago when Estonia joined.

The Baltics have Article 5 protection.

An attack on them will mean war.

Contingency plans are not only on the board but are practiced for in exercises.

Russia will not miscalculate, that is why they attack non NATO members. Moldova is fair game for them and they know it.

Now the Russians are acting like Hamas.

They stir up a bees nest and then cry about responses...lol.

They have little options left in Ukraine, except for full out invasion, but they don’t want the economic consequences of that action.

They have accomplished nothing but to push all of Europe further into the West’s sphere.

I wish so much that the people in the West would wise up to see what Russia really is. For too long they have believed the narrative of a 1992 movie “Comrades of Summer” and think the Cold War is over and Russian people of power just want MTV, VH1 and peace now.
