Democratic Congressman Makes Shocking Racial Comments About Republicans, Clarence Thomas, Mitch
Buzz Feed ^ | 4/29/14 | Andrew Kaczynski

Posted on 04/29/2014 3:38:03 PM PDT by Nachum

A Mississippi Democratic Congressman says Clarence Thomas is an “Uncle Tom,” Mitch McConnell is a “racist,” and that Republicans are only anti-big government and anti-Obamacare because President Obama is black. Rep. Bennie Thompson was appearing on a New Nation of Islam radio program over weekend where he made the comments.

“I’ve been in Washington. I saw three presidents now. I never saw George Bush treated like this. I never saw Bill Clinton treated like this with such disrespect,” Thompson said. “That Mitch McConnell would have the audacity to tell the president of the United States — not the chief executive, but the commander-in-chief — that ‘I don’t care what you come up with we’re going to be against it.’ Now if that’s not a racist statement I don’t know what is.”

Thompson adds at 2:40 in the video that the governor of Mississippi was against expanding Medicaid through Obamacare “just because a black man created it.”

At 3:00 into the video, Thompson adds opposition to Obama is “all about race” and “when a black man comes with an idea [for Obamacare] there’s something wrong with it. Again, it’s race creeping into the picture.”

At 4:47 in the video says the anti-government attitude has only been around since Obama was president.

"I never saw George Bush treated like this."

He must have dozed off for about eight years.

“Careful - you can get kicked out of the NBA for life for saying stuff like that.”

Well, I’m an old white guy, all of 5’7”, so I was kicked out of the NBA a long time ago. Hell, I wasn’t even allowed to interview!

This was on ABC radio news top of the hour propaganda.

This is not that big a story.

This incident is clearly being used as pre-emptive cover for the upcoming election where the Dems will use accusations of racism as their main campaign tactic.

ABC and the other Dem-Media complex outlets set these things up for plausible deniability.

They claim that they are unbiased and report on accusations of racism on the part of Dems as well as Republicans.

He may have been drugged senseless during the Bush years.

“Thompson adds at 2:40 in the video that the governor of Mississippi was against expanding Medicaid through Obamacare “just because a black man created it.”

While Obama pretended to be the ‘creator” of ObamaCare when he thought it would win votes, the fact is that a Democratic congress created it. Anyone whining that opponents of the Affordable Care Act are simply racists should bear in mind that Harry & Nancy rammed it through; Obama just put his mark on the finished product. “ObamaCare” was created by white people.

“Not the chief executive — the commander-in-chief.”

Could someone inform the congressman that commander-in-chief refers to the president’s military role? I know it sounds more majestic than chief executive, but its use outside that role sounds banana republic-ish. I am not in the military. I do not have a commander-in-chief.

Nope a free speech advocate reclaiming the English language. Jew and Negro are perfectly normal and descriptive terms, not some indicator of KKK affiliation, the intimation of which I resent. Today’s racists are Regressives and minority agitators...and certain admin mods.

Then, have dumBO resign, and, let Sloe Joe take over and see how much changes.

This is a private website.

Jew and Negro are perfectly normal and descriptive terms.

And yet you throw around terms like "Sandmonkeys" and "Wookie". Nice try Mr. Connor.

Private website on public networks, and funded by the bloggers who use it.

Don't “throw around” terms; use them intentionally and with consideration. SandMonkeys (Muslim terrorists) and Wookie (you know who) certainly not words I coined or used first, but appropriate in certain circumstances. The more they are used, the more desensitized people become. And we'd better start winning the language war and take back English from the grievance mongers who use PC codes to suppress speech they don't like, and who use terms much stronger than what are used on this site.

Who is Mr. Connor?
