Putin: Washington behind Ukraine events all along, though flying low
Russia Today ^ | 4-29-2014 | RT

The US has been behind the Ukrainian crisis from the beginning, but was initially flying low, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said. He added that if sanctions continue, Russia will have to reconsider who has access to key sectors of its economy.

“I think what is happening now shows us who really was mastering the process from the beginning. But in the beginning, the United States preferred to remain in the shadow,” Putin said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

Putin stated that since the US has taken a lead role in resolving the political crisis in Ukraine, it is “telling that they originally were behind this process, but now they just have emerged as leaders” of it.

The "Maidan cookies" policy paves the way to a broader crisis, Putin warned, referring to US officials showing up in central Kiev and encouraging protesters during demonstrations.

“It is necessary to understand that the situation is serious and try to find serious approaches to the solution,” he said.

If I'm correct, this is the first time that Putin HIMSELF has directly blamed the United States (Meaning the Obama Administration) for causing and directing the events in Ukraine.

Tell all the story, it wasn’t Washington, it was Obama.

Yes, the Orange Revolution was hatched by ValJar and the White House regulars.

Putin said it at the time.

Next week, Putin will blame the U.S. for invading and occupying Crimea.

Pretty amazing, that one of our most incompetent Administrations in recent history hatched the Orange Revolution before it took office.

The media stays mum for the most part, but this mess in Ukraine has Obama administration written all over it. It is another mess created by this evil US regime.

I think we are hated now more than ever.

What a bunch of neo-Soviet crap. You get to say stuff like that when you own all the news channels in your country I guess. Anytime the power is out in a North Korean city (about 5 days a week), the news blames it on US special forces. Any time a cat is run over in Iran, it is a Mossad operation. Anyone who believes this garbage needs to move to Russia.

You should have paid attention to what was going on in Ukraine around the Olympics. Obama regime egged this on.

This sort of rhetoric is very dangerous, and in a world where tempers flare over 140 characters in a “Tweet,” I’m concerned at how measured our government will be in reacting to Putin’s accusations.

The Obama administration has turned into a brigade of firefighters surrounded by a political conflagration. They’re starting to show their points of stress and strain. If Putin decided to make a move on any American interest overseas or, God forbid, on our soil, I have serious doubts that our government would do anything about.

I think Putin knows how much Americans hate Obama and is taking full advantage of it.

I seriously doubt the average Ukranian gives a damn what Obama or America in general thinks. These people wanted freedom, plain and simple.

Vladi simply is putting on a show about his hand-picked goon getting the boot. And what does Vladi care? He got Crimea in the bargain.

Not gonna stop FReepers for falling for it . . . .

It’s not Putin I’m worried about! This administration is full of narcissists who do not like to be trifled with. Research what happens when clinical narcissists get backed into a corner. It’s seldom a happy ending.

“Obama Tightens Control Of The Media Without A Peep?”

Bad news. Still not even close to Putin outright owning all the media in his country and shutting down opposition stations and now websites and blogs. We must guard liberty at home, but we are nowhere close to Russia.
