The White Hut can’t remove the restriction, despite what Øbama says about his pen and his phone. All they did was propose to Congress to remove the prohibition. It is up to Boehner to stick that knife in the backs of the drivers.

Perhaps, but it is amazing how many times a toll booth is remodeled / reconstructed / relocated and how short is the duration between evolutions. Cut the waste and skim out of the equation and the funds would be sufficient.

It’s a racist plot designed to keep oppressed minorities restricted to the inner cities by requiring that they pay money that they don’t have in order to travel. Will they accept EBT’s?

For you people that would rather drive than deal with TSA, sorry, GAME OVER, as the states start charging you another 20 cents per mile, or more, to drive on THEIR ROADS.

Get used to flying again - it will soon be MUCH CHEAPER.

If you like your free Interstate Highway system, you can keep your free Interstate Highway system. Period.

In a way, this seems like it would affect punish rural residents/voters more than urban dwellers. People who stay in their urban locales don’t cross state lines or drive the highways nearly as much as folks out in the country.

It almost seems targeted.

Tolls on the PA Turnpike keep increasing and the road keeps getting worse. Hate that road.

I thought Illinois sold their toll roads to South Africa. Will they own all of the toll roads in Illinois?

No, but some have rumored that they might be interested in a new interstate spur in TN, AL, and MS, that's already named for one of South Africa's own, Desmond Tutu

Cut out foreign aid that would pave the roads with gold.

Fast Eddie Rendell spent his whole 8 years in office scheming for ways to toll I-80 and make those of you who don’t even live here pay the freight for his buddies in the road paving mafia.

White House opens door to tolls on interstate highways, removing long-standing prohibition

Through our tax dollars, we've ALREADY paid for the Interstate Highways.

I have a suggestion: Stop the Illegal Aliens and charge them. They haven't paid one damn penny!
