They seem like copies of each other.
Much like Snowe and Collins were.
Emocratic... I like it.
Already, at least 20% of young adults age 34 and less are still living with their parents. (I forget the actual percentage.)
Republicans should be hammering the Democrats on making entry-level jobs so costly to employers that they cannot hire unskilled workers. We need lower minimum wage, so employers can hire and unskilled workers can get experience.
This story has all the feel of a 'mob crowd' complaining about the 98 pound weakling that got pounded by a bully, and then attacking the weakling for hurting and cutting up and bruising the bully's hands from him smashing them against the weakling's face...
That 10.10 means something to these Pagans...
I think I found it here “1010Global.org”.
There’s an article on FR from Horowitz about it.
nah, dungheap is finally retiring. We here in IA are trying to fill that chair with someone other than an america-hating sandinista-hugging communist.
The figure of ten dollars and ten cents an hour proves that the people pushing this don’t really believe their own rhetoric. If they did believe it then they would first realize that ten cents tacked on to the ten dollars is meaningless in the context of today’s prices. Ten cents an hour for an eight hour day would hardly buy a piece of candy. Secondly, if they really believed it they would be calling for a minimum of at least fifty dollars an hour if not more. If it works as they pretend to the benefit of everyone why stop with a lousy ten dollars and ten cents?
Emocrats- I like it! With your permission I’m going to run that one up the Twitter flagpole as well so I can watch the indignation erupt.
