Normaly, familyop, I agree with you. I just cannot agree with you here.

Our direst enemy of everything that is good and decent about our country is the freak and his cabal in Mordor on the Potomac. Putin isn’t destroying America as we speak, but Obastard and his handlers are.

"I don’t understand at all. How on earth with an enemy combatant as CIC help our military clear up any problems? Now that it’s stuffed with faggots and incompetent women in positions of authority, with good men and women leaving in disgust, or being fired?"

That was dealt with fine by the Army, when I was in training. The weirdos get insincere verbal agreements, and the media exaggerate play acts. If it becomes a problem, it won't go on for long in battle areas.

Not all is as it appears from media--all kinds of media. Nearly all of the nations are already in it. Even India is heavily facing China (many mobiles and other equipment), while China supplies Pak and eyes the Indian Ocean route. And there has been a gradual decoupling with Russia (which supports the others and more). Meanwhile, merchants are nervous about it all and don't want trade disruptions, freight fuel price increases and so on.

Economic and warfare hardships are terrible, but such hardships are eventually conducive to general improvements in morality. We're spoiled rotten. The leading constituents of nations have been focusing too negatively against their own peoples. The great housecleaning is a natural recurrence, and it will come sooner or later.

Sadly, many officers have been fired - for such things as teaching the truth about Islam, or even having the viewpoint that two men shouldn’t get “married”. The military is not what it used to be, or should be. No doubt there are still many many good members. But unless there is mutiny, they will not go against the higher ups who get their marching orders ultimately from the CIC. Look at the rotten ROE in Afghanistan as an example.

On politics, I, along with millions of other loyal Americans, lost respect for most influential constituents and their corrupt political speech from the prevailing political factions a long time ago. Both parties are saturated with them, and many tens of millions of Americans are suffering and defamed under them. Every time they limit candidates to those of various shades of Hillary, the consequence will be the same. They could call us "uncle" or prepare for the layoffs and income cuts, but they won't. Nonpolitical politics is rough, isn't it.

About "70 million" people are receiving good incomes but are also steeped in debt and can't borrow more for big ticket items. Meanwhile,...

See? I hardly ever disagree with you. I especially like this one:

Every time they limit candidates to those of various shades of Hillary,

Bitterly funny.

Have a look at these. They’re quite relevant to the situation at hand and for that purpose. Heating costs are going to go way up before long because of the flood of political folks into energy company investments (almost like another tax). The heaters don’t need much wood at all (about 1/5 compared to conventional wood stoves), and they’re stealthy (nearly no smoke, mostly steam, like a dryer vent). And they’re cheap to build and safe if built with close attention to all instructions in the e-book and elsewhere (especially double sealing the exhaust pipe with high-heat gasket sealer, muffler tape, clay, etc., e-book in second link apparently a freebee).

That was found during at search at this page (some videos there, too).

Thank you, hub has looked into rocket stoves at my suggestion, but these sound very good, much better than what he found.

Thankfully we have so many trees on our property we can heat our house for at least 10 years without cutting down any important trees, and there is BLM all over the place. As long as our country doesn’t plummet too much deeper into totalitarianism we’ll stay warm, but who knows how much worse it will get before it gets better. Everyone here heats with wood, many poor people, so the only way they can stop everyone here from using wood stoves is to kill a lot of us.

PS - and it never hurts to conserve fuel, or to have little tell-tale smoke.

"See? I hardly ever disagree with you. I especially like this one:"

I understand. There's a lot of noisy, overlapping propaganda going around. I try to be wary of that. Many of us focus more on the big picture and less on individual personalities now. I refuse to keep my eye on one individual who is not as politically powerful as advertised in propaganda. Who are the constituents behind each politician? The most influential support all of the prevalent politicians.

I'm stating my own position here rather than trying much to convince anyone. Maybe some people will get something out of it for further study, though.

On foreign relations, I don't want to see more of certain leading elements of certain eastern nations expanding to take other nations or their elite brought here so quickly except for the truly decent and friendly ones. Widely allowed murders, kidnappings and other corruption are far more rampant than here in more than one of those cultures. Public speech is more censored. Some of those cultures have severe penalties for sodomy while having paradigms of forcible sodomy committed every day by many. Terrible drug problems, too, despite severe penalties.

Sometimes, tens of thousands of people are herded from one region to another as slaves on a whim of political party favorites. Imagine even more of those elements dominating and conquering parts of the rest of the world and brought here by the tens of millions through efforts with trading partners.

"Sadly, many officers have been fired - for such things as teaching the truth about Islam, or even having the viewpoint that two men shouldn’t get 'married'."

Those abominable policies were forced into ostensible military policy by political, business and academic leaders in both political parties. But in some of those instances of changes of command, there is something else going on.

There's much more behind the "War on Terror" than widely publicized. There are parallels in the past. Russia, for example, instigated and supplied arms to the enemy for the Six Day War. Russia wants warm water ports as one of its small steps toward conquering the world.

Not all is as it seems from media material--something said about the future (which is now) in a heads-up by President Bush, before he left office. He's a Texan. He has advised Obama. Some of the bosses in south Texas are different--not stupid.

Most of them were in the oil business. They talk to commoners as fellow commoners. I grew up with some of their families. A daughter of one of them was in my public school classes during the '60s and early '70s. She was open, sweet and unpretentious, as were her other family members. They communicated and thought like President Bush. Other close friends of my lower-middle class family were also business leaders--relationships that we seldom see now. They were more decent, caring and honest than most of the upper-middle class families around us.

The U.S.A. now advertises even less of what it's really doing in defense, because international situations have been getting more dangerous for years. Other friendly nations are doing the same while publicizing a few less sensitive news releases.

Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt were lefties. Wilson's people ("progressive") campaigned on keeping the U.S. out of war, but WWI rushed toward the U.S. Same with Roosevelt and WWII. Expansions can happen more quickly than expected by most and become more dangerous by the year. And there are more nuclear weapons buildups in the mix than before. Bullies, including international bullies, don't stop trying to expand their control or building up with the worst of weapons possessed by such nations.

Russia, Iran, N. Korea and several other nations are building up nuclear forces while declaring intentions and initiating actions to conquer other nations. Those moves are only stopped by U.S. forces being present and ready to strike in those areas. Sadly, the nuclear buildups in several of the more evil nations will most likely be followed by exchanges.

And it's likely that many Americans are keeping the now prevalent political chatterers in mind while planning and building to take cover from the likely coming consequences of their policies (thus, the widely advertised plans among the connected to designate the perceived unworthy as zombies to be exterminated and a couple of related, premature incidents, their repeated efforts to outlaw weapons for the unworthy, etc.).

For combat specialty soldiers, except for rare, unnecessary physical injuries or similar problems of dis-function for defense purposes, drill sergeants are the unquestioned authority on training posts. In warfare, social problems are weeded out quickly. Agreed on rules of engagement problems. Those nations should be denazified, but trade and government income interests don't want the necessary manufacturing base, revenues properly spent or many more boys returning home as men to take proper positions, have kids, etc.

Geeze! What a bunch of isolationist nincompoops! You can deal w/ Putin now or later. What do we do? Wait till he forces the Baltic nations & Poland back into the new communist bloc?? Force NATO to disband? Wait until he sends jackbooted troops into Hungary, the Czech Republic & Romania? Wait till his nuclear arsenal is so great that he can call all the shots in the world? Some of you people leaned nothing from Hitler & Munich. Crack a history book or 2.
