Race is, hands down, the most repulsive aspect of the Donald Sterling scandal. But sex is a close second. To listen to the taped conversation between the octogenarian owner of the Los Angeles Clippers and the 30-something V. Stiviano is to glimpse the tawdry and inherently unequal arrangement between — well, let’s put it primly, benefactor and recipient.
The Sterling-Stiviano deal appears to involve a transaction as old as time. We’ve seen it before, yet we rarely see inside it in such unvarnished, ugly form.
Just look at the photos of the pair courtside, and you know what’s up: Sterling, puffy-faced and unattractive; old enough to be Stiviano’s grandfather, no less her father; but powerful and, perhaps more relevant, fabulously rich. Stiviano, striking in a Cosmo girl way, with a Mexican/African American background that makes Sterling’s reported aversion to having her associate with — or, more precisely, appear on social media to associate with — African Americans all the more bizarre.
They met, according to a lawsuit filed against Stiviano by Rochelle Sterling, Sterling’s wife of more than 50 years, at the 2010 Super Bowl. Donald Sterling allegedly proceeded to shower Stiviano with luxuries: a 2012 Ferrari, two Bentleys, a 2013 Range Rover, a $1.8 million home and $240,000 in living expenses.....

Can’t remember what Ruthie Marcus’ position on the most powerfull man on the planet using a cigar as a sex toy on an intern, then leaving a DNA sample on her blue dress. But I’m guessing it was a lot more forgiving than her feelings about Sterling.

I never understood what this was about. The first time I saw a picture of Mz. Perez a couple of days ago, I thought she was black. I didn’t know why what’s his name was complaining about blacks if his bimbo was black. Today I read that Perez’s natural father was probably black. So I have no idea what all this seedy stupid headliner is about. She’s a prostitute. It can only go downhill from there.

How was the relationship unequal? A ton of feathers balances perfectly with a ton of lead, though the two sides are much different in size. His side balances with money, and her’s with the ability to fulfill his sexual fantasies.

Ruth is kinder than I am. The girl is a prostitute, the guy is repulsive, the sporting world is tawdry, the whole “scandal” is stupid, and there’s not much more to say about it.

I may be flawed in my analysis, but might I say that Sterling doesn’t sound like a cast-iron racist. What racist would say its fine to “sleep with black guys, I don’t care” but just don’t be seen with them in public? It sounds more like the real racists were the guys he was hanging around with who were calling him because of what they saw this woman doing.
To me, Sterling just sounds like he’s ‘keeping up appearances’ with the crowd he runs with. An idiot for sure, but is he being unfairly put through the wringer? For all we know, the people who were ‘calling him’ are other guys high up in the NBA.
What is the point of this stupid opinion piece? It doesnt offer any new ideas or insights. Rich guys like pretty young girls, pretty girls like rich old dudes. Everyone understands what is going on here.

Was being serviced by a young female gold digger who was in turn being was being serviced by much youger black bucks at his expence which she paraded in front of him. Just to piss him off. Somehow after speaking with her lawyer sets up a situation where the dotting dupe seeing what little loyalty to him he expected from her being destroyed. Vents his frustration over a taped phone conversation that suddenly gets made public.
