Jeb Bush’s Steep Challenge for 2016 – WSJ/NBC News Poll
The Wall Street Journal ^ | May 1, 2014 | NEIL KING JR.

Posted on 05/01/2014 6:00:56 PM PDT by MinorityRepublican

Former governor of the largest swing state. Scion of a famous political family. Darling of the Republican donor class.

Should he decide to enter the 2016 presidential fray, Jeb Bush will bring a pedigree few Republicans can match. But does he excite? Does mention of his name stir the souls of Republican voters? Is there a rank-and-file clamor for him to jump in?

Our new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll casts some light on these questions, and isn’t great news for the many Republican elites pining for another Bush presidential campaign.

In the movie "Damn Yankees," Gwen Verdon sings, "What Lola wants, Lola gets."

Same for the GOPe.

The morons/traitors (some of each) in the Republican Party will push for this so they can stupidly/purposefully (some of each) lose the next election.

Jeb Bush is a 100% certainty to lose the Presidential Election if nominated.

100%
100%
100%

Ohhh, I don't think he'll have too hard a time getting the nomination.

The GOPe love him as one of their own and the Dems love him knowing that Hitlery will stomp him into the ground in a general election as true conservatives flee the GOP in droves, leaving no one to vote for the bush, I mean Bush.

The "news" media will play him up to get the nomination only to turn on him viciously when he gets it, so as to help Hitlery even more.

Get a clue GOP:
NO!

and

HELL NO!

(Do you sometimes wonder if the GOPe purposely doing this? Throw in a bad candidate so the Dems just win on default? I don’t like conspiracy, but my gosh, they just CANNOT be this thick can they?)

Jeb Bush is a 100% certainty to lose the Presidential Election if nominated.
Unfortunately, it's also a near certainty he'll win the GOP(e) nomination...if he decides to run.

That was easy.

Only divine intervention will keep Hillary out of the White House, but damn... let’s at least nominate someone who will carry the flag. Jeb would serve only to lose “gracefully.”

Jeb Bush will bring a pedigree few Republicans can match.

If Jeb Bush was a dog, pedigree would matter. In people in just means 'Daddy bought influence'... Jeb should run as a Democrat.

I hope Jebs climb is so steep it makes him slide his butt back down to Florida, or Texas, or wherever Jeb is living these days. We don’t need him.

If Bush wins the nomination then it will be official: the United States is now a one-party system in the executive branch.

Sure.

To Big Money, it’s a win-win. Hillary and Jeb are both hip deep in the crony capitalism shell game. So no matter who winds up sitting in the Oval Office, the gravy train keeps rolling down the track.

Jawless flab-face Jeb

You got it. It might not be right to judge someone on his appearance, and there are plenty of more substantive reasons to reject him, but do we really want a candidate who looks like he came out of a jello mold?

Jeb Bush murdered Terri Schiavo.

He is unfit for any public office.

We got to admit, Dubya was photogenic. He was a fitness buff.

Jeb, on the other hand, looks like a typical white collar federal bureaucrat.
