NBA legend...says whoever taped Donald Sterling’s comments should be ‘sent to prison’
NY Daily News ^ | May 1, 2014 | Teri Thompson

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar fully supports Adam Silver’s lifetime ban of Clippers owner Donald Sterling for making racist comments to his girlfriend, but he says he also wants whoever is responsible for taping the comments “sent to prison.”

Writing in a strongly-worded editorial peace for Time magazine, Abdul-Jabbar spoke out against the methods used to obtain evidence.

"Shouldn't we be equally angered by the fact that his private, intimate conversation was taped and then leaked to the media?” Abdul-Jabbar wrote in Time. "Didn't we just call to task the NSA for intruding into American citizen's privacy in such an un-American way?"

Glad I joined the standing O for him many years ago at the Boston Garden on his retirement tour.

He has always treasured his reputation (true or not) of being a “cerebral” person.

But he’ll always be Lou Alcindor to me.

Do you think his wife might have released it?

I met Kareem and had a great conversation with him years back. He seems a genuinely terrific guy. My guess is, in writing for Time, he’s holding back on what he really feels. My guess is he thinks the entire thing stinks. Badly.

I guess Kareem does not believe that a person has the right to be an A-hole in their own home. I believe that he, Magic, Al, Jesse, the whole of the NAACP, the old black panthers, the old black panthers, every single dark skinned player in the NBA, Football, Baseball etc. have NEVER said a derogatory thing about ANY White or other colored people in the privacy of their homes.( I also believe in the tooth fairy) But then what am I thinking, only WHITE people can be or are racist.

"She was like a sexy nanny playing 'pin the fried chicken on the Sambo.'

It works. She was directing Sterling to get him to pin the fried chicken on the Sambo.

I strongly disagree. This is what Lew Alcindor said about the diabolical usurper in 2008:

"He's [Obama] served as a senator very capably, and he is very skilled in terms of his ability to organize and lead people. And that's what we need right now."

And that worthless individual, just like his hero, hussein obama, is a mooselimb. I can't understand how Alcindor can be called a "terrific guy" with that resume of evil. Yes, I refuse to call him by his contrived muzzie name...same with Cassius Clay.

All in the NBA right now are looking around thinking who’s next? The Closets are full, open the door and something will fall out!

I think Kareem was just believing the media. Like the majority of the voters.

But then what am I thinking, only WHITE people can be or are racist.

I have reluctantly caught the old Oprah show which my liberal spouse used to watch on T/V. At one time I happened on crusty Don Imus (Imus In The Morning). Old Don growled that Winfrey was a racist. Again and again this woman has let slip some slur against Whitey.

Still, the seats were all filled by white women, loving Oprah. I have it that she claimed old white people were "marinated" in racial prejudice. That it would all be gone "when they die".

No justice and just damn!

OK, maybe I'll grant you that but the fact remains, Lew Alcindor is a mooselimb and thus is the enemy. I have nothing but contempt for that vile individual. And yes, muzzies do have ways of posing themselves as if they were normal people. One of the 9/11 hijackers was known as a "hail fellow, well met" type of guy by those who "knew" him at a health club in Florida. Same with Alcindor, his seeming reasonableness and "intellect" (such as it is) is just a typical mooselimb ploy.

Are we really going to judge people based on who they vote for though? Most people don’t follow politics so to base an opinion on how they are as a person based on political beliefs they probably barely understand is immature in my opinion. Most people aren’t philosophically savvy enough to know the true differences, they just buy what the media says

Yes. I do. And I'll fully and proudly acknowledge that I'm intolerant of those supporting those who seek to undermine traditional American values. As for this Alcindor character, he didn't merely pull the level for the usurper but was part of the obama/holder regime serving as the so-called "global cultural ambassador" when appointed in 2012 to that post. Since his retirement in 1989, that muzzie's projects were centered on "social justice", a term for marxism.
