GOVERNMENT SCHOOL "INDOCTRINATION" CENTERS

This is especially for you parents who have your most precious possessions (your KIDS) in government schools and then scrimp and save to send them to allegedly top notch colleges and universities.  This radical leftist pictured below is the poster girl for the vast majority of those who "teach" (read that "indoctrinate") in those places.  Many of us have understood their intentions for a long time.

The left has now grown so bold that they no longer must conceal their takeover of the educational system here.

Then you are puzzled when your kids come out hating you and the values that afforded them their "education".

Dr. Gary North and others reminded us decades ago that those who wish to undermine and conquer a culture must “capture the robes”. A traditional symbol of authority figures is the robe worn by clergy, judges, academics, etc. Look around and ask yourself if the world you knew as a child has shifted to the left. You don't have to look too hard, do you?

Let me put this into concrete, real world terms:  As you read this, these people are indoctrinating millions of new little socialists who will someday VOTE – and worse, get themselves into positions of power over you and yours.  If you thought Obama was a destructive and dangerous fool, you're going to LOVE what comes next!

If the few remaining sensible Americans don't get a handle on THAT problem, it will get very ugly here.

“When an opponent declares, ‘I will not come over to your side,’ I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community’."

Adolph Hitler Speech November 1933

The churning out of wothless kids has a number of factors, and the liberal schools is only number three.

Number one is the amount of actual time spent with the parents together with the child. Awake not sleeping. Talking or doing something together, not merely in the same house. Time with parents needs to excede time at school or with friends.

Number two is the late age at which young people now shoulder meaningful responsibilities. Kids need to start working by the time they start high school. High grades is not a replacement for work experiences DURING THE DEVELOPMENTAL YEARS.

What you both say is true.

I don’t believe we parents have ever wanted to make the hard choices, because we too have been affected by the fallen standards that crept into our schools and society that pushed wealth, performance and success, at the expense of God and family. Like sheep, we bought for 60 years a bill of goods that resulted in today’s collapse of our families and all of our great institutions.

This is, first, a WAR on FAMILIES and CHILDREN, and it needs to be treated as such.

Parents and families need to practically unionize around the right for a classical education and religious liberty, or else go on STRIKE. Anything less dramatic or immediate takes too long and we don’t have the clock on our side.

i think schools is number one... how can the time with parents happen if kids are in school 6-8 hours of the day? and then with both parents working?

I hope you continue to consider homeschooling. It really is a viable alternative.

From your screen name, I am going to assume that you live in New Jersey, one of THE BEST states for homeschoolers.

I live on Long Island, another place with absolutely ridiculous property taxes and allegedly “great” public schools. BAH! We sent our kids to Catholic school anyway. (My oldest graduates from HS in a few weeks, and we now homeschool our youngest.) Take a look around. There might be some good Catholic schools lurking about out there. If you find a parish that offers the Latin Mass AND has a school attached to it, I’m sure you will find that that school will be sufficiently conservative and orthodox.

Good luck. Oh! And if you do decide to give homeschooling a try, take a look at Seton Homeschooling for your curriculum. VERY Catholic. VERY orthodox. VERY conservative.

Regards,

One parent up with the kid an hour before school
One parent there when the kid gets home or by five. Up doing things with the kid until ten. Bedtime. Rinse. Repeat.

It isn't rocket science. It doesn't take special skills.
The only requirement to accomplish this, is to care.

If you don't give a damn, and want to prioritize going about your day unaccompanied by your child then of course you can think up all kinds of excuses. They won't really stand up to scrutiny though.

I just resurrected this previously lost item from my word directory. It might help some folks what’s really at work here vis-a-vis government schools:

A story that plays into where we are now bears recitation. I’m working from memory here and some of the details may not be precisely correct but the take away message has stuck with me all these years.

In August, 1977, a small church in Louisville, Nebraska – Faith Baptist – was raided by armed agents of the state Department of Education for running a Christian school.

The ostensible reason for the raid was that they were NOT adhering to the state “requirement” that ALL schools and teachers be “certified” by the state. A judge issued an order that the school be closed. They remained open and the raid ensued. The teachers and 17 students children were terrorized as they were held at gunpoint on the floor. The pastor, one Everett Sileven, was arrested and held in jail for some time.

Public pressure forced his release and he began a crusade the effects of which are still felt today in the Christian and home school communities.

Here’s the take away message about which I have the clearest memory: Pastor Sileven appeared on a TV debate program to defend his church school. Also there was an official of the Nebraska Department of Education.

At one point, either the moderator or Pastor Siliven turned to the school bureaucrat and asked the real reason why the state had such a problem with their small church school?

Without missing a beat, through a sneer anyone who has visited the DMV will recognize, the bureaucrat declared (and I’m paraphrasing):
“Because you are denying the state schools needed money. And because you are educating children outside the public school system, in the world we’re designing for the future, THEY WON’T FIT IN!”

Dwell on those last 4 words for a moment.

If you’re curious about just what that world they were designing might look like, LOOK AROUND.
You’re living in it!!

To conservatives generally: If you care, your child isn’t in a government indoctrination/child abuse center. And, no, your government schools aren’t “different”.

It is a matter of priorities. I know single moms who find ways to homeschool. The government schools WERE NOT put in place to make life livable for you. They were created to give various groups a monopoly on the indoctrination of children.

Conservatives sure are addicted to their welfare education habit. We don’t have options when we love our “lifestyle” too much.

Thanks for confronting the “I don’t have the time/money” lie. Conservatives love welfare education because it means they get “free” daycare and can have bigger houses, newer cars, etc.

Good information.

Many of the HS’ers on this thread are lucky to have the opportunities and agreed feelings with their respective spouses that they do. Good for them.

I tend to agree the answer is more along the lines taking control of the public schools back and making sure they provide a classical education. When someone rips me off in other services I don’t take the loss and then do it myself from scratch- I refuse payment, or insist the job gets done right. We shouldn’t have to do that with schools either.

For those considering HOME SCHOOLING, go here to find the statutes applicable in your state:

That is a terrifying story, DB. Horrifying, in fact.

I am surprised, though, that this incident took place in Nebraska. I thought they had more sense out there.

Please don’t take this reply as an attack on you. I honestly wish you all the luck in the world in your endeavor to take back your public school (I really do).

Growing up as a conservative in NYC, I was often a lone voice in the wilderness. I know what it is to speak out against the liberal agenda with NO support anywhere. And I continue to do so even now. Sadly, my efforts have been in vain.

I have much more to say on this subject, but will refrain from doing so here so as not to bore the audience. In the meantime, I hope you have MUCH better luck than I did.

Regards,
