The West has cut all paths to a peaceful solution of the Ukrainian crisis by supporting the Kiev authorities and their violent crackdown on protests in the eastern part of the country, Russias envoy Vitaly Churkin told the UN Security Council.
DETAILS TO FOLLOW
The Rhetoric being used at the UN right now by our own government is VERY disturbing.
Russian translation: EU, US interfering with Russia’s attempt to grab more Ukrainian territory.
You know events as well as I do.
This is a bigger geo-political game than just Ukraine.
That the Obama administrations actions have boomeranged isn’t surprising.
This comment by Russia isn’t disturbing?
***The West has cut all paths to a peaceful solution...***
This administration is good at that.
Yes, it is. So are the ones from the Obama Administration.
Russia has been fairly consistent though, while we have been all over the place.
Putin is playing chess while Obama is playing beer pong.
Thanks for posting this story from RT - Putin’s propaganda outlet for simple-minded Western consumption. There is plenty of evil to go around, but we need to remember that the Russians always suck.
Seems we have that classic common enemy threat to our "nation" from the outside.
Yes, I would say Russia has been fairly consistent...
I posted it PRECISELY because it gives the Russian’s public position.
It’s a pity you are so narrow-minded. Don’t you think that knowing what the official Russian position might be important?
Or would you rather wait until the Air Raid sirens go off, to figure out what is going on?
Right out of Tom Clancy’s book Red Storm Rising.
“A DemoRat war to distract from the economic collapse at home, six months before midterms?”
I wouldn’t go that far.
What we have here is the boomerang from the incompetence of Obama, and the radical Socialist ideologue minions he is surrounded by.
Obama has stumbled his way into this, as part of a misguided effort to sooth his ego after being smacked down by Putin over Syria.
And we ALL may have to pay the price for it, in the end.
“Right out of Tom Clancys book Red Storm Rising.”
Eastern Ukraine should start mobilizing a self defense force if they want to keep themselves out of EU/IMF imposed debt slavery.
Western Ukraine should start learning Polish. :^)
Poland wants the Western Ukrainians to stay in Western Ukraine.
Ironically, a new putsch may be the best way of avoiding a big war. Even the US and the EU will not be able to support a second "para-democratic" removal of the Ukraine government.
How many ID’s do you have?
This is the same thing you posted under El Hambro (or what ever) several weeks ago!
I have one ID.
How many ID's do you have, tovarich?
Thanks for pinging the Mod. It's a disgrace that you're allowed to post your NeoSoviet® propaganda on FR.
There haven’t been “NeoSoviets” for two decades now. Thanks for playing...
The NeoSoviet® Empire never died, it just went further underground. Useful idiots [or agents provacateur] like yourself are clear evidence of that, and your other posts are correct: Russia's foreign policy is consistent and has always been consistent since the Czars: Imperialism, oppression, torture, and murder. Nothing changes, not even the agents and useful idiots they send out to peddle the story that it's really the other side that's causing all the problems.
Crawl back in your hole.
Washington has countered with sanctions aimed at crashing Russia's economy, and Moscow has further countered by crippling the Visa-MasterCard stranglehold on clearing financial transactions, and may form a new strategic anti-Western alliance with Beijing. Russia's non-military "nuclear" option is to demand that Europe purchase its natural gas in gold or some other non-USD or Euro (USD-linked) medium. If the Petrodollar is crashed, our own economy could be ruined. The stakes are getting progressively higher.
Economic sanctions are acts of war, just short of physical violence. The purpose of sanctions is to hurt just enough to achieve a desired political outcome, but not to hurt so much as to provoke a military response. That is a fine line to draw, and a dangerous one with a hostile alliance encircling the borders of its adversary. I can't help but recall how Fred Thompson's character declared in The Hunt for Red October, "This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it."
Keep on trollin’!
It’s not the Russian opinion. That would be simple-minded. It’s what they want us to think. That’s what propaganda is, genius.
I’m sorry. Who are you?
“This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it.”
Which is what I have been saying, all along.
We have an agitator, not a leader, running our show. And he is so far out of his depth (and the depth of the mions around him) that the likelihood of a major screwup grows with each passing day.
There are a LOT of forces at work here, and the Ukes are just the latest victims of it, like the Tunisians, the Libyans, the Egyptians, etc....
I see Moscow Center's grasp of American idioms is as bad as ever. Time to tell Vlad to up the Lubyanka's English education budget.
I am addressing you directly. I am addressing your idiotic RT agitprop with the history of your Evil Empire. That is not trolling. Get a clue.
Somebody who is sick of reading tcrlaf’s agitprop.
Actually, I don’t live too far from it!
What a maroon....
So... your only excuse for not understanding what trolling is would be dimwittedness then?
