MUST WATCH: Oregon Republican calls out Liberal reporter, gets THROWN OUT of candidate meeting
The Right Scoop ^ | 05/02/2014 | The Right Scoop

This has to be the best thing I’ve seen since Newt Gingrich was calling out the liberal media in 2012.

Republican Mark Callahan, who is running for US Senate in Oregon, was in a candidate review meeting with other colleagues in order for Willamette Week, a publication in Portland, to decide who they would endorse in the upcoming primary. An opponent of his, Republican Joe Rae Perkins, was on speaker phone. There were others in the room but I’m not sure who they were specifically.

The clip starts with Perkins answering a question on speaker phone. While she was answering it, one of WW’s reporters, Nigel Jaquiss, wrote ‘blah blah blah blah’ on his paper as she was answering. Callahan noticed it and called Jaquiss out for it, saying:

"You want to talk about disrespect? I see what you’re writing down there. You just wrote down ‘blah blah blah blah blah’ for everything that Joe Rae said. Joe Rae is a respectable woman. Why are you not respecting her by writing ‘blah blah blah blah blah’ on your notepad?"

If I lived in Oregon, I would vote for Callahan just for being sportsmanlike and honorable by sticking up for his opponent. I don't even know his positions (except climate change), but he has brass and the others just sit there like drones.

He's got character.

Yep, the other three just sat there and took it like good tools after he left.

THAT is the future of America. I am content, as I get older, to put the country in such hands as his.

Every other Republican in that room should have walked out also.

They all should have walked out. That would have sent a great message to liberal members of the media.

Obviously the rest of the "Republican" candidates were just that, self-serving go-along-to-get-alone pusillanimous politicians that will serve Boehner well until we throw his sissified backside out.

The man even sounded like he had balls unlike many of the squeaky-voiced metrosexuals that infest our most sacred offices.

Good on him!

Sent this to Nigel:

Breaking News: “blah blah blah blah blah”. You’ve sure got a way without words, Nigel. BTW, I believe in climate change: it changed several times here today. The Easter bunnies don’t know whether to wear t-shirts or jackets. Have a nice day and find something useful to report on.

The lady is Dr. Monica Wehby. The man with the glasses is Jason Conger, Oregon State Representative.

If by weird you mean he’s an intelligent republican male with balls, then I would agree whole heartedly.

Perfect. Clearly Callahan knows that the liberal media will print all crap anyway. I sure wouldn’t vote for the other candidates who were unwilling to stand up for what was the right thing to do and walk out with Callahan.

“…thin-skinned liberals like yourself.” Boehner, are you taking notes on how it’s done?

Good idea. This candidate might be better in the House.

Is this the way it’s usually done? I thought candidates were interviewed individually, not as part of a group. …no big loss anyway, like a Portland newspaper is actually going to endorse a Republican.

The problem here & almost universal is talking to ANY liberal. There is no gain. Talk is over with all of them. These commie/leftist are nothing more than cancers & need to be handled as such.

Callahan would be better in the STATE House or Senate...he needs time to ...uh... gain a following. Believe me...I know. It’s not that I don’t like him or what he did...it’s just that there are 4+ people running for this Senate seat....and he has NO chance at all...never did....still doesn’t....he could have likely been elected to the State House, though.

When Callahan said he thought "climate change"© was a myth; the snarky blah-blah-blah "reporter" asked whether he thought the Easter Bunny was a myth. Amongst several other things, that was a failure of logic. If Callahan had asked the "climate change"© acolytes opposite if they believed in the Easter Bunny, that would have been snarky, and logical.
