Teens are using Burts Bees lip balm to enhance a buzz.
Teenagers are finding new ways to get high and this time it’s by applying lip balm to the skin around their eyes.
It’s called “beezin,” named after the brand Burt’s Bees. Users say that it intensifies the feeling of being high or drunk.
Health officials say the peppermint oil in the lip balm increases tear production, causes swelling to the sensitive areas around the eyes and could cause some dangerous medical conditions.
“The appeal of using this lip balm towards the eye is because of the permeability, it being very instant,” said Certified Nurse Practitioner Tammy Todd with Minute Clinic. “It can cause a buzz to occur in young children.”
Anyone who has tried “beezin” and experiences pain or redness should seek medical attention.
Is this like “redeye” without the pot? Seems pretty silly.
A young guy at work had to see the doctor, blocked gland in his eye.

Sounds more like the old gag of applying shoe polish to the rim of a cardboard tube and handing it to someone telling them that if they look through it up at the sky they can see stars during the daytime just like being at the bottom of a deep well.

I know every generation had their stupid moments, but these younger folks seemed to be pushing that envelope.
I've heard that rubbing the genital area after dicing up jalapenos or habaneros will intensify the buzz as well as making it last longer.

We seem to have the market cornered on stupid and dangerous activities.
There is a period of youth and stupidity that I’m always surprised most of us survive...
When I was in that foolish period, it was said that scraping a banana peel, drying the stringy stuff you’d scraped off, rolling it in a paper like a joint, then smoking it would get you high-I hate bananas, but knew some people who tried it-they said it just tasted like s***, but nothing else...
