A Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Oregon was thrown out of a meeting with the alternative weekly newspaper Williamette Week after he confronted a reporter for writing “blah blah blah” on his notepad while another GOP candidate was talking.

Why were they seeking endorsement from a “alternative” newspaper? Everyone knows that “alternative” is just code speech for liberal rag.
In Oregon.. they probably have to take what they can get......
I’d have gotten more irate than that. In fact, I’d have probably asked the little punk to step outside. Either that or on the way out said “I hoped you had fun sucking **** in journalism school”.

The “alternative weeklies” are generally run by progressive hippies and hipsters and given away for free. Many of them fund the operation through sex ads in the back (for “personal connections”, “massages”, and other escort and sex line ads).
Village Voice Media has been implicated numerous times because of underage sex trafficking in their ads.

Reporters don’t have to ask Democrats questions to obtain answers at press conferences. They already collude in private on who will ask which questions about which topics before the Democrats open the floor.
Even the Bengahzi talking points memo makes it clear that the Democrats are colluding with the media on news items and dictating which news items should be buried and what the tone and focus should be.
My thought exactly. And that is why Republicans continue to lose, they do not stick together. They all sat there like geldings and thankful for the few crumbs that were being thrown their way.
