The torture of detainees in Mexico continues to be widespread and occurs between the time of arrest and when suspects appear before a judge, a United Nations official said Friday after a two-week probe of issue.
U.N. special rapporteur on torture Juan Mendez said that signs of torture are found on people arrested by all levels of authority, from the military down to local and state police. [ ]
I wish I could say that torture is isolated in Mexico, said Mendez, who was invited by the Mexican government to do the study. But I have an obligation to tell the government and society of Mexico that its the kind of problem that needs to be corrected.

Every society, now and in the past, since we left the caves, have employed torture of some kind. EVERY ONE.
They are infamous for torturing, the worst victim of it that I ever met was a female that suffered at their hands.
It is creepy to be a taxi drive from your house, and yet having to bribe federal and city cops, and see how they operate, and know what they can do if they choose to.
These days you could send someone to the park and video him signing people up for torture.

The kidnapping of Christian girls and women is common in Muslim countries. Do we hear a peep from this lousy UN sham? If Mexico were Muslim, they’d be exempt from all human rights.
Eleven years? Back in 1967 I remember seeing a book for sale in stores in El Paso warning tourists about the tortures people who are arrested, for the smallest reason have to go through, in Juarez.
The cover showed a man bleeding from the head.
