Yes, He wins! Even when it appears dark, He is fully in control.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Notice that verse only applies to believers. I have it on good Authority that it won’t be so great for unbelievers who are not called according to his purpose.
