White House press secretary Jay Carney attempted to cast doubt on a House Energy and Commerce Committee report showing only 67 percent of Obamacare enrollees have paid their premiums Thursday in the White House press conference. Carney called the report overly selective and unlikely to be representative of the entire insurance market.
However when asked if he had a sense of how many people will ultimately pay their premiums, Carney admitted he did not know but doubted the 67 percent figure because of anecdotal figures he has seen out of the insurance industry. “I’m not a numbers cruncher,” he said.

Well, maybe these people are not “numbers crunchers”, but they certainly could hire those who can.
That is, if they REALLY wanted to, which is probably not the case. Actually finding out how bad the numbers were would do as much damage to the credibility of the Current Regime as the recent revelations about Benghazi have already.
Of course, when everything has been blasted to rubble, what is left? Blast it to a very fine dust?
And if “feelings” matter so much, how well do they wear “greatly distressed”?

It seems they have taken a huge responsibility for healthcare and then laughably cannot even produce simple accounting reports.
If someone was selling me this software I would send him packing.
Now, the government could be this misinformed, and have invested in terribly worthless software, but I think it is beyond that. Carney should be attacked if they cannot produce reports because it proves the point of governmental incompetence and the waste and inefficiency of the wrong people getting into the insurance business. Secondly on the heels of that attack he should be attacked vigorously for lying, because they do have the data and they will not release it because it does not serve them politically, just like Benghazi!
Carney is the Baghdad Bob of press secretaries, he tells enormous and stupid lies, and the sheepish press nods in unison.
I can imagine how the WH is hating Fox News for crushing them on Benghazi, but, as Mark Twain said, you don’t get in to fights with people who buy ink by the barrel.
