Disgraceful: Top Democrats Add Insult to Injury on Benghazi

May 2, 2014

By Todd Cefaratti

The recent release of the Benghazi emails has Democrats scurrying for cover from the political fallout and in doing so, many are showing their true colors.

Former National Security Council (NSC) spokesman Tommy Vietor spoke with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Thursday and downplayed the seriousness of the emails that has rocked the political establishment. When asked about details pertaining to his own involvement in altering the Benghazi talking points to pain President Obama in a more-favorable light, the former Obama staffer flippantly replied, “Dude, this was like two years ago.”

With Hillary dismissing the scandal by saying, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” and Vietor excusing such malfeasance, it’s easy to see where the priorities of the Obama Administration lie.
While Obama Administration officials scramble to cover their own… behinds, what has been conspicuously absent from these discussions are calls for justice for the families of those murdered in Benghazi.
The Benghazi emails show that in the earliest moments after the attack, virtually no consideration was given to protecting fellow Americans or finding justice for those murdered; instead, it was about spin-control from the beginning.

What was top Senate Democrat Harry Reid’s response? On Friday, the surly Senate Majority Leader stated,

“Republicans are showing yet again that they have nothing to offer the middle class. Republicans care more about defending billionaires like the Koch brothers and trying to rekindle debunked right-wing conspiracy theories than raising the minimum wage or ensuring women receive equal pay for equal work.”
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has subpoenaed current Secretary of State John Kerry to question why the Benghazi emails were not turned over after repeated demands for any and all material related to Benghazi.
Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings, notable for his recent tantrum after his microphone was cut off after he tried to ask questions of a witness after the hearing had adjourned, has voiced his outrage.
He’s not outraged by the Democrats’ stonewalling and outright lies, mind you; no, he’s outraged that John Kerry has been subpoenaed.
“These actions are not a responsible approach to congressional oversight, they continue a trend of generating unnecessary conflict for the sake of publicity, and they are shockingly disrespectful to the Secretary of State,” Cummings stated in response to Kerry’s subpoena.
It’s outrageous that the terrorist attack on Benghazi was allowed to occur. It’s outrageous that the first thoughts in the White House after the attack was damage control and not a crusade for justice. It’s outrageous that Democrats did not release these emails and it’s undoubtedly outrageous that anybody, Republican or Democrat, could defend the disgraceful actions of Democrats looking to spin these emails as anything but a ruthless betrayal of the American people and those who were murdered in Benghazi because of cowardly foreign policy that rested upon inaction.

And, of course, the appropriate comeback is “yes, isn’t that ridiculous? Why did it take SO LONG for anyone to pay attention to it?”

Frankly, I think National Security Council Spokesman Tommy Vietor looked real cute on Fox.

Must be fun for the Ntl Security spox to still be able to buy “big boy” clothes in the “juvenile department” of his local dept store.

Mom’s there, too-—like always-—to pick out little Tommy’s ties-—so her little boy will look good on TV.

“...and trying to rekindle debunked right-wing conspiracy theories than raising the minimum wage or ensuring women receive equal pay for equal work.”, said Harry Reid.

Uh...No, Senator. It’s about a left-wing conspiracy to cover up responsibility for the deaths of four Americans in a terrorist attack that was likely encouraged by this criminal enterprise administration as a result of its concerted efforts to destroy America.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid read from Hillary's 2016 playbook: “Republicans are showing yet again that they have nothing to offer the middle class. Republicans care more about defending billionaires like the Koch brothers and trying to rekindle debunked right-wing conspiracy theories than raising the minimum wage or ensuring women receive equal pay for equal work.”

If there was a single Republican in Congress, the whole bunch of traitors would be frog marched straight to jail.

But that would be asking too much.

So, like it was “two years ago”.

Consider this a cold case reopened. It is never too late to pursue justice, no matter how long it may be delayed.

There are connected junctures between cause and effect. The deaths and destruction at Benghazi have a specific genesis, and it is a very implausible hypothesis, that this was a “spontaneous eruption” of anger about a video on the Internet that at that time, probably had been seen by about six people in the WHOLE WORLD.

There was a shuffle and a scheme to take control of a supply of weapons that had been shipped to Libya, in support of the insurrection against Khaddaffi, and the fingerprints of the Current Regime were all over that, much like the “Fast & Furious” gun-walking that moved weapons and ammunition into Mexico.

The objective was to transfer these weapons in Libya to Syria, in support of the insurrection raised against Bashar al-Assad, but the local custodians of the weapons were not ready to give them up. Therefore, the shooting match, and the orders from above to “stand down” all possible support that could have been offered on the fateful night.

This is so much broader, and deeper, than anyone has yet been prepared to state publicly. And its roots probably run far beyond the White Hut, to some of the big money men who prepared the way to the White Hut for the Current Regime.

Not legitimate diplomacy, and not a legitimate government.

Chris Plante played up the “DUDE! that was two years ago” on his Fri show.

He also said the the previous job held by ‘Tommy’ was driver for the Press Van and kept making remarks such as “Dude! I was in charge of the situation room” and finally conceded he may have been 30 and he (Plante) was still trying to find out what might even remotely qualify to be the “National Security Spokesman”....
Then again look at CARNEY
(appropriately named - back in ‘my yute’ believe if you called someone a ‘Carney’ it was calling him a hustler or con man - a follower of midways for State Fairs or Carnivals. - Like ‘tagging’ a lawyer a ‘Shyster’ or ‘Ambulance Chaser’.)
He is proof positive it doesn’t take any talent or sense to be the Presidential ‘Designated Liar’ Spokesman.

As I had stated before when you are someone like BO, it is hard to keep the room or area staffed with people DUMBER than he is, so as to ‘look good’ and ‘intelligent’.

Cummings, Obama, Hillary, Clintoon, Kerry, and a few others...I can’t stomach the obvious political garbage that comes out of any of their mouths. I decided a long time ago “if their mouths are moving, they’re lying”.

It has got to the point where I am thinking that Benghazigate involves something WORSE than we already know. We do know it is bad and of course the Rats are trying to Protect, Deny, and Obfuscate, but really? All that effort? They are hysterical. They are trying to frighten the Pubbies off. Maybe some or all were involved in something so bad that resignations would be a certainty. It can be done; Nixon resigned over a ‘third rate burglary’.

“Dude, like that was two years ago.”

BUT, everything is still Bush’s fault after nearly 6 years of Obama and democrat rule. OR, Reagan’s fault from 35 years ago. But after 6 months Benghazi is ancient history and has nothing to do with Obama or current events.
