Despite the unemployment rate plummeting, more than 92 million Americans remain out of the labor force.
The unemployment rate dropped to 6.3 percent in April from 6.7 percent in March, the lowest it has been since September 2008 when it was 6.1 percent. The sharp drop, though, occurred because the number of people working or seeking work fell. The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not count people not looking for a job as unemployed.
The bureau noted that the civilian labor force dropped by 806,000 last month,

If one were to ask how many people with a decent education were working a low-paying job, I doubt the numbers would be small. Underemployment is an understated problem.
2013 American exports to China: 122 billion dollars.
2013 Chinese exports to America: 440 billion dollars.
The problem is we have sent a whole bunch of very productive jobs to China.
Which is now sending products back to America.
We need to return those jobs to America.

92 million is almost 1/3rd of the entire population so why isn’t unemployment at 33% or even 30%? Oh that’s right, what Obama says is the truth.

They are not unemployed. Once they got their obamscare they quit and became poets and artists and stuff.

Mr. Obama is a mediocrity in every way but one: he is a great hater. Who does he hate? The easy and relatively superficial answer is whites. But that’s not quite right. He hates the ones who did build that. And so the entire agenda of Obama’s administration is focused on one thing: cutting them, the ones who did build that, down. It doesn’t take genius to destroy, it takes single-mindedness, in Obama’s case malevolent single-mindedness. So yes, he is up to the job, only not the job as a decent human being would view it. As to why Obama hates those who did build that: he knows, at a level that long ago was buried, that they’re better than him, beyond him, more capable by far. Heck, they’re more capable by far than me. Very early in life we make the choice to admire and emulate or hate and resent the ones who build that. Obama chose to hate and as president has been great. A great destroyer.

Ask around and you will find tens of thousands who had to train their replacements.
It started back in ‘99 and it is growing into all areas except politicians.

Depends on your definition, are we talking about people who planned their retirement or are most of them, as I suspect, victims of obama's campaign against job lock. I would venture that the vast majority are like me, forcibly freed of job lock by the residents determined assault on the American economy.
Unreal and I believe it because about a year and half after Obama took office the homeless where I lived seemed to triple, every stoplight hitting me up for money, and I believe they set records for food stamps now.
And they have the GALL to push another extreme leftist on the people like Hillary? WHAT? That would be like nuking the Titanic as it’s sinking. “Hey just make sure the US is good and dead, let’s bring in Hillary”

Comrade Barack Obama today became the first to achieve a milestone coveted by enlightened central planners everywhere when the Bureau of Laborious Statistics announced the much-followed totally-meaningless “headline” U3 unemployment rate for last month was ZERO PERCENT! This means that the glorious economic recovery he engineered after the disastrous Bush years has now attained FULL EMPLOYMENT!
It is a tribute to Professor Obama that he was able to find the Holy Grail which eluded history’s greatest economic thinkers such as Lenin, Stalin and Mao. This landmark achievement along with his establishment of free healthcare for everyone via the Affordable Care Act cements his reputation as the Greatest Leader in this or any other universe for all time.
The dramatic moment occurred at 12:03 PM, four weeks to the day after Lyman Yilk, a pipe-fitter from Bittcling, Pa, finally gave up looking for work. Mr. Yilk has been unemployed since 2005 but was on a celebratory bender since the day after Mr. Obama’s first election and did not know that the Keystone Pipeline (which Mr. Yilk was hoping to find work on) had been cancelled due to environmental concerns. When he finally sobered up four weeks ago and learned the project was dead, he abandoned his search to find a job.
Mr. Yilk was the last worker to leave the labor force and turned the lights out as he left. According to the BLS definition:

Gloom-and-doom naysayers were quick to note that the labor force participation rate had also dropped to zero percent which (according to them) was not a good thing as it meant no one was employed. Comrade Nancy Pelosi countered their racist, straw-man argument brilliantly by observing that it also meant no comrade was any longer “job-locked” and each was free to be an artist, writer, hooker, etc, and pursue their passion.
“There is no underestimating this tremendous achievement of Barack Obama” said Paul Klugeman, an expert on hiding declines and fudging economic statistics as well being the self-proclaimed “Conscious Liberal”. “Comrade Obama has achieved the socialist dream of freeing all of The People ™ from the slavery of work and permitting them to live off of someone else’s dime as god, if he existed, would’ve wanted.”
Dr. Klugeman was asked if a problem would arise due to the fact that since no one was working, there would also be no one to pay for the benefits that all the non-workers were collecting.
“Nonsense”, he proclaimed. “The Fed will simply print money for artists and writers and hookers to use to buy things from China! What could go wrong?”
It seems so simple now, it’s a wonder no one ever thought of it sooner.
“The genius of Dear Leader Barack Obama lies in his simplicity”, said Dr. Klugeman.

That trend actually started a little earlier during the Clintoon years. During the early to mid 1990’s,I refused to work with new hired reps for that reason and the poor quality of reps hired to meet diversity quotas.
I took early retirement in 1996, and the sales rep, who was a Cuban from Miami replaced me barely spoke English and drove my old territory that grossed just under $10 million in a year into barely 5 figures. The Hispanic customers in this area couldn’t understand him.
The company asked me to work with him, and I refused. He tried to call me twice, and I sent his manager a $300 consulting bill for each call. I had become an independent consultant in that industry, and I was paid.
After the loser destroyed my old territory, the company moved him back to Miami to ruin another territory.
