The Nuclear Option -- Next: Rich Intellectuals Want Global IRS to Fight Income Inequality
Breitbart's Big Journalism ^ | May 3, 2014 | Charles Hurt

A French “thinker” writes a book about global poverty and, predictably, The New York Times goes limp in the knees.

All out was the putsch last week by the Gray Lady’s opinion staff to promote the book aimed at toppling the evil rich around the world. Leading this charge was the paper’s famous, bearded Marxist Emeritus columnist Paul Krugman.

Mr. Krugman is, he tells us, an expert on income inequality.

“I’ve been involved in debates over inequality for more than two decades, and have yet to see conservative ‘experts’ manage to dispute the numbers without tripping over their own intellectual shoelaces.”

So high has Mr. Krugman scaled the heights of income inequality that City University of New York, it was revealed earlier this month, will pay him $225,000 to talk about said income inequality. (That really is true.)

As Kermit the Frog taught us, it ain’t easy bein’ green.

In his screed last week about wealth, however, Mr. Krugman failed to mention his latest windfall from the public university that could feed a starving village in Mali for years. Indeed, Mr. Krugman knows how to keep his intellectual shoelaces tied!

Anyway, the book is called Capital in the Twenty-First Century. It was written by some guy named Thomas Piketty, which — I am sorry — just doesn’t sound very French to me. That — along with the praise heaped upon him by Mr. Krugman — has me thinking “fraud.”(continued)

Krugman is 5'7"--the classic short man with a height complex.

In this country and any European country it is OKAY for a woman to be short. She is considered "cute." MOST short men don't care to be "cute." Most have figured things out by 30, that is, they AREN'T going to get taller or be cute. They dump whatever shorty complex they had a long time ago.

Perhaps Paulie needs a few more years of growth maturity to sort things out.

Income inequality in the United States is a Sunday picnic compared the income inequality in India or Brazil, just to name two of many countries.

Seems odd that these rich intellectuals are always calling for more taxes and social programs yet never seem to be financially affected by it all.

First they’ll have to force “one world government” on the world.

No, we just need more rules and regs.
For this case ... all communication between people should take place in a confessional type device to completely conceal the individual.

It will take some time before we can have a proper Handicapper General.
Then we can all live equally in harmony!

Except that Bergeron guy?¿

“Comrade George Soros...”

Malaysia has a death warrant out for Soros. Sent the Nazi there to stand trial. The country has a death penalty that includes death by hanging. Of course it will upset the Soros-loving neo-con trolls hanging out at FR, but who cares?

But this new global IRS would not tax the income of these filthy rich people around the globe, but rather take away what they already own.

In a free and rational society with an advanced modern division of labor, economic inequality is one of the institutions of capitalism that provides the means and motive to accumulate capital, which is necessary for economic progress, which is necessary for increased prosperity.

Egalitarianism is an evasion of the reality of the biologically innate natural differences in abilities and skills, and intelligence of humans. To deny that is irrational.

Yes, but we’re working on it. Packing the country to the gills with leaf blower operators should get us over the hump pretty quickly.

“Income inequality in the United States is a Sunday picnic compared the income inequality in India or Brazil, just to name two of many countries.”

Our global overlords are looking to control our standard of living, and eliminate these migrations that result from people in country A having it better than country B.

So our own home grown gestapo actually predates Hitler’s by twenty years.

Please NO MORE regs!

===========================
It will take some time before we can have a proper Handicapper General.
I suppose that HIGHER taxes to pay for your "Handicapper General" are not a problem for you. They ARE for me. And, putting out the wah-boo-hoo "Handicapper General" to make it "okay" doesn't work for me either. TOO MANY TAXES!!!!

===========================
Then we can all live equally in harmony!
You are living in la-la land. Humans, as a species, are NOT built to "live equally" OR "live in harmony."
We are equal in the eyes of God, of course, but we are all different by talent, I.Q., experience, education and personality. We rub each other the wrong way ALL THE TIME.
Just look at traffic! Lol. There are good, bad and distracted drivers. THERE is the world in a nutshell...and be careful of the NUTS!

===========================
Except that Bergeron guy?
Oh, I wouldn't worry about him.
From the Internet: Bergeron's salary: 4.55 million USD per year (2014).
YIKES!

NO! Not that Bergeron!!

THIS ONE!¡

HARRISON BERGERON
by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

“Harrison Bergeron, age fourteen,” she said in a grackle squawk, “has just escaped from jail, where he was held on suspicion of plotting to overthrow the government. He is a genius and an athlete, is under-handicapped, and should be regarded as extremely dangerous.”

A quick read from an interesting source!

If they really think they want to do away with income inequality, let them do away with money right now.

Start everyone at the same level, even the "elite".

Build dense apartments with a max of 20 sq ft per person.

Let folks go through lines and get their daily allowance of food stuffs and their annual change of socks and underwear,

etc....etc...
