Putin’s vengeful plan to take back the old Russian empire (13 countries under threat)
New York Post ^ | May 3, 2014 | Ralph Peters

... Putin has become a Great-Russian nationalist, a bigoted throwback to the days before the Bolsheviks arrived. His intent is to regain all the lands that once belonged to the czars....

And make no mistake, Putin truly believes he’s entitled to reclaim Ukraine and a great deal more. In his view, independent capitals from Warsaw (yes, Warsaw) to Bishkek are integral and natural parts of the Russian imperium. He regards them as property stolen from its rightful owner: Moscow.

The Putin Doctrine gives Moscow the right, in his view, to intervene wherever ethnic Russians or merely Russian speakers are “threatened.”...

Even in the three easternmost provinces [of Ukraine] currently under contention, ethnic Russians are not in the majority. But Putin is re-teaching the world the old lesson — which we’ve done our best to forget — that the fate of nations often isn’t decided by majorities, but by a determined handful of men with guns....

No. Zer0 is the worlds biggest Buttwad.

No confidence to let this maniac play with America’s military in some pipe dream war with Russia.

So I don’t give a flying fig what Putin does in countries that were once part of Russia. I hope a future American president has the stones to return California Arizona New Mexico and California to America after zer0 gives it to LaRaza Mexico.

Heck a real American president might even liberate our neighbors to the north from their royal entanglements (that sentence was just a joke, Canuck )

Putin’s Putinistas are planning putsches wherever they can get away with it. Nations bordering Russia today must prepare to be subverted by this vile and wicked self-serving autocrat. Putin is bent on reconstituting the Russian/Soviet Empire; its collapse he described as the worst catastrophe of the 20th Century (not the Gulag, not the Holocaust, not WWII). Putin, a second generation secret policemen whose father worked for the secret police during Stalin’s reign of evil, has, like Milosevic, transitioned from a commie opportunist to a pan-Slav-Russian chauvinist. He had to find an ethos to rationalize his self-aggrandizement, and, again, like the con man Milosevic, why not ride the con-job of the ethnic avenger? He is a transparent fraud, yet he fools and dupes the gullible.

Putin’s doing a swell job with the mad mullahs in Iran too. He’s making money, helping them get nukes, and showing how sincere his Christian sensitivity really is. Throw in his support that helps maintain the anti-Israeli Assad for the sake of Putin’s military-industrial-complex and you get a more accurate portrayal of just how deep Putin’s support for the survival of Christians and Jews really is.

Trying to be complimentary towards Putin about anything is bizarre to me.

If we can focus America’s attention on Putin, then nobody worries about Obama... And Benghazi.

Right. You, like Putin, think the American people are stupid. You think we can only think about one thing at a time. Both Putin and Obama are a threat. We should not ignore either one.

You seem to forget that a majority of Americans voted for Obama. Not once, but twice. So yes, I think a majority of American people are stupid.

Do you always think that when people don’t agree with you it’s because they’re stupid?

No, I never voted for him or supported him ever. I notice, though, that Liberals think that people who disagree with them are ipso facto stupid. It seems you have the same idea about the Americans who voted for Obama. You think they’re stupid, as you said above. And you said the majority of Americans are stupid. But why are you for Putin? You don’t have to support him, do you?

Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan= Russian puppet states. They have nothing to worry about as long as their current leadership stays in place or new leaders like them come to power.

Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia-— NATO members.

Georgia, Azerbaijan-— In a world of hurt...

America is in a world of hurt at home. NATO should help us here at home remove our tyrant (not that I would really want eurotrash over here for a minute )
