I was thinking about that, and I told my Dad to keep an eye out for it...

Its not meant to be disrespectful at all, it would be a badge of honor IMO...

Like I said, you learn something new everyday...

I’m just glad I didn’t lose any appendages myself when I took a few laps in uniform...

I’ve always had a very deep respect for those celebrities who do the USO performances in some of the most remote places we served...

Kris Kristoferson was one of them...He had a great band that he toured with and did great shows, long sets, and some pretty darn good music...He would tour the facilities afterwards and was interested in our equipment, combat systems, didn’t geek out when he was shown all the bells and whistles of our “stuff”...

He almost wanted at that time put his band on the helo, and stay a while (with us), while we worked up in the North Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf (back before it was cool to be in the Persian Gulf) hehehe

I went to the fishing marina earlier and caught seven nice crappie. our freezer is already full of filets, so I need to find a friend who wants them, I gave twelve filets to a lady from our church yesterday.

I gave 20 filets to my cousin last week. Hope she has room in her freezer, because she may get 14 more filets today. Her grandkids love fresh fish.

Well, Linda sure appreciated the filets. They will have the grandkids week after next, and will make some of those. If I catch more, she may get another bag. I gave my neighbor who gives us strawberries ten filets last week too.

Yesterday (Monday) was a crazy beginning of the week. I didn’t get to work until late, as the highway to work was closed due to tragic accident.
