Brit Hume Criticizes Jane Harman For 'Monumentally Misleading' Benghazi Talking Points
Breitbart TV ^ | May 4 ,2014

Posted on 05/04/2014 5:31:05 PM PDT by Hojczyk

On "Fox News Sunday," Brit Hume had a heated exchange with former Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) after she said Benghazi was an “intelligence failure” and not a conspiracy to divert attention from the terrorist attacks weeks before the 2012 presidential election.

"That’s not the question," Hume said. "The question was whether in the aftermath of the attack, when the administration sent its UN ambassador out to explain it to everybody, and she did so falsely, that there wasn’t a conspiracy to create the false talking points that she used. I’m not talking about the CIA talking points, I’m talking about the talking points used on that program that day, which were monumentally misleading, that since have been shown to be false, and based on no intelligence that we know of.”

BH was intolerable in the last election. Didn’t he have a vendetta against Newt regarding the death of his son? (or am I mis-remembering?)

Californians are especially challenged by this Benghazi story.

They are the biggest Obamacare state...if the Democrats lose credibility on Benghazi Dems could possible be voted out en masse.

No, you are not misremembering. He was a full blown liberal about that deal.

And his hate for Palin was also on full display all throughout the run up.

If a REAL journalist wanted to make a name for themselves. Now would be the time to do it. The opportunities right now are enormous.

But when you have a bunch of pathetic little children who are brain washed into thinking the government can do no wrong. Well...

“It is actually interesting watching her tow the Democrat Party line considering how her colleague Nancy Pelosi bypassed her for a leadership spot after becoming Speaker.”

I’m convinced anyone who spends more than one term in Washington is subject to blackmail. The quest for power, money, and sex drives these people. Once they succumb to the temptations they are compromised forever. Jane Harman served many years in Congress and almost made it to the top of the pyramid. To rise to that level, she was compromised. Once she was passed over by Pelosi, she was no longer a power player and chose not to run again instead of stay in office with diminished power. Now that she is out of office she simply does what she is told to keep her status, perks, and possibly her life.

Always remember .. the left proceeds with every idea on the basis of the right is too stupid to know the difference.

I think most of them are shell-shocked that the American people are not falling into line.

A key word is “complicated”. If they tell you it’s too complicated to explain .. that’s because they don’t want you to know the truth.

Hmmmm ..??

I don’t think it’s going to work this time .. 4 DEAD PEOPLE .. is a very powerful story .. and the last poll I saw - 61% of the public wanted to continue finding out the truth about Benghazi.

How can someone continue telling lies when its so incredibly obvious.

This has to be how the ‘party’ in communist Russia acted.

The guiding political philosophy behind Communism is Dialetical Materialism.

Rule 1 of Dialectical Materialism is that everything the elite leadership says is the truth and cannot be denied.

Rule 2 is "See Rule 1".

A conflict between leadership dogma and the truth can be resolved in two ways. Either the truth is manipulated or the past is changed.

Rule 2 is why Soviet leaders kept being airbrushed out of photographs...

I hope you’re right, but I am a bit numb these days. I have seen Obama and the Democrats get away with so many lies, so often, that I have lost a lot of faith in the average American to see or think about anything that is not on his plate or on his television screen. Maybe this will be the story that proves me wrong.

Again, I certainly hope so.

Enough White House lies on Benghazi

By: David Limbaugh
5/2/2014 06:00 AM

The Obama administration has no shred of integrity left concerning the Benghazi scandal. Caught in the act with the “loaded gun,” those in the administration are telling us it is a toy pistol, but no honest observer can possibly believe them anymore.

It took a lawsuit to force the White House to release emails that reveal just how deliberate and fraudulent the plan was to deceive the press and the American public about the cause of the attack on our consulate in Libya.

The incident and a nearby attack a few hours later, in which four Americans were killed, occurred in September 2012, just a few short months before the November presidential election. Obama’s foreign policy credibility was on the line, for he had long boasted that he had al-Qaida on the run, despite his efforts to relax our war on terror into a law enforcement matter (except for his precious drones, of course).

Reports emerged that there had been previous attempted attacks on the consulate and that our people there had asked for heightened security, which the administration callously rejected. Was this sheer indifference or a result of Obama’s concern that enhancing security would signal a failure in his magical policy of appeasing terrorists? Either way, it was disgraceful.

It was obvious at the time but is now undeniable that with cold premeditation, the administration hatched a sinister ploy to blame the attacks on an anti-Islam video that had surfaced on the Internet. There was no evidence that this video had incited the Benghazi attacks or that the attacks were spontaneous but much evidence that they were preplanned by al-Qaida terrorists. But the entire White House spin machine immediately went into overdrive constructing and disseminating this false narrative, even to the point of having federal authorities arrest the hapless creator of the video, whom they nabbed on other charges. This was a horrifying abuse of government power starting at the very top, and it is not the America any of us should love.

Finally, after a year of withholding internal emails, the White House, under legal compulsion, turned them over to Judicial Watch. Included was an email from Ben Rhodes, an assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for strategic communications, dated Sept. 14, 2012. Its subject heading was “RE: PREP CALL with Susan: Saturday at 4:00 pm ET,” and the email was sent to about a dozen members of Obama’s inner circle, including press secretary Jay Carney.

The thrust of the message was clear: Protect Obama’s image (and re-election efforts) at all costs; American interests and the American public’s right to know be damned. It contained four bullet points:

The rest of the scandal

The “tell” for liars, is repeating a question. It gives them time to think of how to craft the lie.
Spot any “tells” in the video?

Yep. You are right. This tool just wasn’t very talented at it.

God’s watching. I think ultimately, it will be sad that they didn’t fear that.

That's a start, Brit. But I cut the cable (satellite) to a great extent because of you and a few others and have NO intention of getting FNC or any current news channel again. You might as well stay wishy-washy or go full-tilt lib like your good buddy Charlie Gibson. Nothing personal, though.

Well.... of course! She is the ruling class elitist owner of JBL, Harmon Kardon (Harmon e.g.), and a slew of other mega brands in electronics field. She is in BED (a horrible thought visually) with all kinds of techie types and obamalamdingdongs of Californication. Lot’s of money— thinks like Pelosi and Boxer that this gives her brains and discernible thought. A demo apparatchik. Way to go Brit!
