“Actions to stop terrorists who’d utterly annihilate America and delight in massacring our innocent children? Darn right I’d do whatever it takes to foil their murderous jihadist plots – including waterboarding. Whatever one thinks of my one-liner at the NRA rally about treating evil terrorists the way they deserve to be treated to prevent the death of innocent people, it’s utterly absurd for MSNBC to suggest that I could put our beloved troops in harm’s way, but we’ve come to expect the absurd from that failing network.
If you want to talk about what really harms our troops, let’s talk about politicians who gut our military’s budgets, or a president whose skewed budgetary priorities slash military benefits, or an administration that puts our vets on endless waiting lists for care that comes too late to help those who’ve paid the price for our freedom, or those who break bread with those who think it makes no difference how our military heroes died in Benghazi or anywhere else trying to protect America. Those actions are a heck of a lot more harmful than declaring an appropriate message our enemies should receive. If some overly sensitive wusses took offense, remember the First Amendment doesn’t give you a right not to be offended.

Waterboarding is a fine procedure. Directed to an individual. Not fatal. No permanent damage. But fairly effective in uncovering secrets to save lives. Not very 'Muslim' if you ask me.

In this case they would be correct, but it is just the idea - they will attack no matter what we do.
I have ceded the fact, that if it makes ‘them’ happy, I will admit to being a Racist, Sexist, Homophobe, or whatever enters their pea brains.
They believe we are all of the above and by denying or arguing, just give them ‘ammunition’ to shoot us with.

Dreher is a mixed up bag of nuttiness and contradictions, he is a big fan of Obama except when he is “too republican” on issues like the economy, Dreher did not vote Palin in 2008, and despised her then.
Dreher used to be “Crunchy con” and is a mixture of right and left, that led him to being third party.
The guy is a nutcase, and worked for Mondale’s campaign.

Thanks to people who spaz out over mere ‘comments’ like this one aganst conservatives and anyone else that dare speak them, the left will likely ‘win’. They can point and say “Look! even christians and right wingers disavor this extremism!”
the result of that ‘win’ will look a lot like Road Warrior. Anyone that can read can look at the fallout when the Bosnia thing happened to see a very Road Warrior scenario isn’t just a speculative exercize.
In America, it will be worse since most modern Americans are addicted to comfort. Without their 4K Tvs and Iphones they will be fodder for the ferals since most couldn’t build a campfire much less anything more complicate to survive.
Now, with all that said, The very people who complain so bitterly about things like Palin calling for baptism on a waterboard are gonna be in a hell of a fix under their new reality. And guess who they will be bitterly clinging to to save them from rampaging feral liberal gangs?
That’s right. The very people that use harsh language and offend people.
I wish them all the best outside the various compound walls that will quickly be built for protection. Because the last thing people with the will to survive need is pussified burdens on their time, energy and scant resources.
