I gotta say, Saturday’s 100th anniversary White House Correspondents’ Dinner was one of the biggest TV flops of the year.
What happened? I’d rather have Stephen Colbert go rogue again than have a repeat of what viewers endured Saturday night. Obama was not only unfunny, but seemed distracted and disinterested — I could identify with that.
Worse, one of TV’s smartest and funniest guys, Joel McHale, was a nervous, off his game, whiny, wimpy disaster. Could you hear the tepid laughter? Or was it so minimal you missed it? Every time the cameras panned to the audience, you could feel the desperate search for someone who wasn’t just sitting there, mouth agape, or dozing quietly.
Compared to this event, “Sean Saves the World” was funny.
Compared to this, “Two Broke Girls” is hilarious.
There was more humor in Princess Di’s funeral than in DC last night.
Too soon?
The only somewhat funny part was the video of Vice President Joe Biden driving Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays Selina Meyer on HBO’s legitimately hilarious “Veep,” around DC, asking people like Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and House Speaker John Boehner if they were going to this “snore-espondents dinner,” as she called it.
And boy did she call it!

You know something, Kathleen Sebellius helped Obama to hang this tonnage of a smelly albatross called Obamacare around the unwilling necks of the American people. Our country is far worse for it, and we may not be able to remove this unlawful burden for many years, if ever. She should be jailed or worse for deliberate incompetence. With that said, if Kathleen was in my family I would try to wake her up to the fact that she was used, globally humiliated then abandoned by her afirmative action figure boss.Stop showing up for their stupid rituals Kathleen. Eventually the hypnotic spell of a personality cult member will wear off. She will feel as low as poor Monica Lewinski, forever infamous for her vulgarities.
Maybe the fathers history explains why she continues to participate in the White House Lies of The Week, smearing her own name even more. She was the bride of frankenstein for a short while.
This woman wouldn’t have even reached high office in Kansas had she not met and married the son of a well-respected Republican Congressman (and took and besmirched the good name of Sebelius). She used it to get herself elected there statewide.
My hope is that Pres. Palin puts an end to these worthless White House correspondents dinners.
I think she delivered a rebuttal to W state of the Nation address 8 years or so ago.

When even the old Liberal Hollywood know-nothings failed to show, you know that Obummer’s time has expired. He is totally unlikable and unsuited to this job, or any job, come to think of it.
And never forget that Nurse Ratched Sebilius was BFF with the murderous abortion ghoul, Dr. Tiller of KS. That’s how she endeared herself to the dunces who vote in KS, evidently, and caught the eye of Obama’s abortion lovers.
He just has been delivered a Vote of No Confidence today, with the Pew poll.
