A group of wealthy liberal donors who helped bankroll the Center for American Progress and other major advocacy groups on the left is developing a new big-money strategy that could boost state-level Democratic candidates and mobilize core party voters.

The plan, being crafted in private by a group of about 100 donors that includes billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros and San Francisco venture capitalist Rob McKay, seeks to give Democrats a stronger hand in the redrawing of district lines for state legislatures and the U.S. House.

LOL! Sounded like a Koch brother alert at first but alas, a bunch of unheard of assclowns promoting the "progressive" agenda. I wonder if they'll get any mention from hairy screed. Probably not so much.

A bunch of Democrat fat cats. Who knew? I thought the only rich people involved in the political process were the evil Koch brothers. The true hypocrisy of the Democratic Party in living color. They love wealthy donors as much as the GOPe does.

I would not laugh this off. Just like their Secretaries of State Project in the wake of Bush v. Gore is part of a patient, long-term strategy to tilt the table in their direction.

Unfortunately this folks that you deride, had a plan to change Colorado from conservative to progressive and succeeded. This is true for a number of states. It is their goal to have essentially a single, progressive party running things. Do not discount them. Find out if they are active in your state and work to destroy them at the polls.....now and forever

Unlike you and I, who have actual lives, these people eat, sleep and breathe the pursuit of political power. They lie awake in bed all night thinking up cute new little “gotchas” to give their side the edge. They are insidious.

Not discounting these dung heaps. The sad thing is that “progs” will read this and find absolutely nothing wrong with it. On the other hand, if it had been about conservatives they’d be screaming bloody murder.

"Walking around" money is the plan. It's called electioneering. DemocRATs have perfected illegality into an art form.

Indeed it is true....one of my friends posted on Facebook a smear from occupy democrats that said republicans all voted against veterans benefits.....it was scurrilous and untrue. But that doesn’t stop them. They take a procedural vote and count that as a vote on the bill.....

Anyway IF we want to take our country back this is the kind of mud wallowing we are going to face
