If Obama Needs ‘Third Term,’ as MSNBC Analyst Suggests, He’s in Trouble (VIDEO)

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton must be thrilled about this:

“If you are President Barack Obama and you want to be a transformational president, getting to that transformational stage sometimes requires you get a third term,” NBC News Senior Politics Editor Mark Murray submitted amid a sleepy Monday segment packed with idle speculation about the 2016 election cycle.

“People in the White House, and President Obama, I am sure they would love to have a third or fourth term,” Murray continued. “That is some of the reasons why some of the people in the Obama orbit are happy about a potential Hillary candidacy, because it does provide a best opportunity for the third Barack Obama term or third Bill Clinton term however you want to put it.”

No, I think he is already well on his way to achieving his objective.

Today's USA Today/Pew Poll: By more than 2-1, 65%-30%, Americans say they want the president elected in 2016 to pursue different policies and programs than the Obama administration, rather than similar ones.

Good luck to Dems running on Obama's 3rd term.

The first challenge is the 22nd Amendment.

If Obama (or a stand-in) needs a fifth, sixth, or fifteenth term...

Why? So they can continue to grow the economy, fix the military, win us more friends overseas, get more ambassadors killed, drive our employment down from 75% to 25% of capacity?

A triple scourge, MSNBC, Obama and his soul sister, that Roddam woman.

As much as I loathe Hillary Clinton, she would be a very different President than Obama, not at all a “third term.”

Yep. Elections mean little at this point. Dependency has metastasized. Time is on their side.

Next to the first and second amendment the 22nd amendment may be one of the greatest of the amendments. Why is it that only Democrats seems to be interested in dictatorships (Roosevelt, Clinton and now Obama).... hmmmmmmmmmm

Nice to see these polls. America doesnt’ want yet another liberal president pushing more socialism, more government control, more taxes, more Alinskyite debates on issues of the day.

NBC News Senior Politics Editor Mark Murray: certifiable nutcase!   An absolute clown!

He must be trying out for the Obama administration job lottery, one that he sees MSNBC has already won!

MSNBC management is absolutely unworthy of consideration as anything professional!

The first challenge is the 22nd Amendment.

Do they care any more about the 22nd Amendment than about all the others that those on the far left systematically violate?

I think the main thing protecting us from Obama declaring himself a third term is his desire to spend more time on the golf course. Plus he will get to be a full time rock star, and won’t have to be nice to Mooch.

That comment is a off-base as Murray's! The major players yanking Barry's chain (e.g., Muslim Brotherhood) would continue to tickle Hillary's.

Instead of fun-boys in the residence, we'd just get more Madelyn Alldim's.

This statement is a “trial balloon,” seeking information as to how the public reacts to a claimed need for a third term by this clown currently in office. He may precipitate a Social War by trying to stay on.

I had in mind that Hillary would be much more hawkish in general, and especially towards Russia, than Obama. I wouldn't expect her to agree to any reforms of ObamaCare, except perhaps some “pragmatic” band-aids, but I also think she would be less aggressively anti-business than Obama. Were she to be elected (and I will campaign actively against her, regardless of the Republican nominee), I would see her first term as Bill Clinton's third term (minus the WH intern), rather than an Obama third term.

A third term would be cause for an armed insurrection.
Enough is enough.
