Headline is a little confusing, but bolded snip refutes one of the standard lies of the warmist witch doctors and voodoo priests.

No mention of Antarctic sea ice because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

I think the ice is all in the Great Lakes, where it shut shipping down for the first time in 30 years.

The only constant in climate is change.

Cliamte change scientists are the same scientists that brought us Brawndo:

“Brawndo’s got what plants crave. It's got electrolytes. You want us to put water on the crops instead?’

‘Yes.’

‘Like, the water that comes from the toilet?’

‘Well, it doesn't have to come from the toilet, but yes. We should put water on the crops instead of Brawndo.’

‘But Brawndo has what plants crave! It's got electrolytes!’

‘Well, let's look at the situation. The plants aren't growing, so I'm pretty sure that the Brawndo isn't working. We should just try the water out instead and see if that works.’

‘Yeah? Well, I've never seen plants grow out of a toilet.’

‘Okay, look - we want to get this problem solved. So we have to try a solution of some kind. Let's see if the water hypothesis works, and go from there, rather than worrying about what plants may or may not crave.’

‘But we know what plants crave. Brawndo. It's got electrolytes.’

‘...Okay - what are electrolytes? Do you know?’

‘Yeah. It's what they use to make Brawndo.’

‘But why do they use them in Bawndo? What do they do?’

‘They're part of what plants crave.’

‘But why do plants crave them?’

‘Because plants crave Brawndo, and Brawndo has electrolytes.”

A friend of mine owned a cottage in Canada. Each year for several years the water was higher up the wooden steps from the beach to the cottage. Finally, one spring the water was so high it destroyed all the steps which then had to be replaced.

My friend said many of the cottage owners were convinced the water would finally reach up the hill and destroy the cottages. She laughed and said, “It’s cyclical. You replace the steps and for several years the water recedes.” It did just that.

We had a similar experience in a cottage in a part of the US. Each year the water was higher. Finally, it started to lower. Again, cyclical.

But if it fits the Dems’ scare tactics, they ignore the fact that it’s normal.

Reminds me of the old Soviet newspaper that reported the Soviets took third and the US second from last in some competition; there were only three teams competing.

Global sea ice coverage is currently about 1 million square kilometers above the 1979-2014 mean. Reductions in the Arctic ice have been more than compensated for by increases in the Antarctic. But don’t expect any headlines to tell you that.

Check out Joe Bastardi's Saturday Summary for the reason - heat accumulating in the Arctic while Antarctic remains cold.

.... One of the dirty little secrets of the Climate Change/Global Warming movement is that the polar ice is diminishing. Well .... Yes ... they are absolutely RIGHT!!!! However the question needs to be asked ..... Which polar ice fields are they talking about? The Arctic ... or the Antarctic icecaps?

..... As my 90 year old mother keeps pointing out to me, When she was in school she was taught that when the Antarctic ice shrinks .... the Arctic ice grows and Visa Versa! Somewhere along the lines in the Climate Change movement, this little factual tidbit seems to have been lost .... or ignored! Thus making it so much easier to keep the low information public at the lowest level of information as possible and so much easier to control. Kind of like the proverbial Used Car salesman's dream. Except in this case ... the results are much more dire for the world of capitalism. A wet dream for the world of Social/Marxist/Communism

****1978 to 2014 record. ***

But, wait! 1978 is when we were supposed to be entering the NEW ICE AGE! We were warned for years about it, so WHERE IS IT!

That’s because all the Arctic ice is stuck in the Great Lakes.

As if 36 years -- the 1978 to 2014 record -- wasn't an infinitesimal snippet in geological/climactic terms, akin to analyzing the entire movie "Gone with the Wind" based on a nanosecond of film footage.

Ludicrous.
