I really am hoping Brannon can just get him below 40

Also the results now match the State Board of Election link posted later. Looks like WRAL says “Math is hard”

the precincts reported number just went from well into the 1500 range down to 700 range

Is this a sign of Tillis shenanigans?

I noticed that too. Of course we all know WRAL plays by the “See BS” rules.

The county clerks’ office can affect the way the count is reported, if they submit accidentally an empty file, etc.

Or maybe they submit a file somebody doesn’t like, a file that has to be ‘fixed’.

Tillis back up at 45%. Only 36% of precincts reporting though.

General impression is that Harris is the one keeping Tillis at or below the 40% threshold where it appears to be occurring, rather than Brannon. Brannon is stronger overall than Harris but holds an outright lead in only one or two counties, none especially large, whereas Harris has a couple of the more populated ones.

Fox is pimping Tillis so hard right now you can almost see Karl Rove’s strings catching the light.

Harris was the Tea Party choice, but Brannon was endorsed by Sen. Mike Lee and Rand Paul.

That's our problem right there.
