The cheerleaders need the NFL more than the NFL needs the cheerleaders. They willingly took these jobs. They knew what kind of outfit they had to wear. I think many of this women have a pole in their future, as opposed to what..rocket science?

Revolting cheerleaders, I haven’t done that in years.

It is not as though anyone needs any of them, players, coaches, referees, cheerleaders.

Its all mere entertainment.

And of course these people are corrupt and do not honor their contractual obligations. Do these women not pay attention to how many of these athletes are serious drug addicts off the field? Did they think that stops when they move up to the coaching staff?

Absolutely the management of major sports will pull any crap you don't have the money to cause the courts to correct. Good behavior went out in the early seventies when they abandoned even a vague pretense of what used to be called “sportsmanship. “

The cheerleaders need the NFL more than the NFL needs the cheerleaders.

Don't know about other teams but the Dallas Cheerleaders work damned hard and deserve more than just fifty dollars a game/the last figure I heard.

I don't know how much they should earn but these owners can spare a few more bucks to these young ladies for the hours and effort they put into being entertainers.

I know Jerrah Jones can afford to pay his team's sideline beauties a lot more.....

Cheerleading audition photo of a woman completely unconnected to this story, posted at the link for no apparent reason (except the obvious).

Another cheerleading photo, also unconnected to this story, posted by me for no apparent reason (except the obvious).

Correct. They are paid by the game - it is not an hourly wage job. And I bet the terms are clearly laid out in the contract they all signed.

For what it's worth, the players are paid by the game, too. If they are suspended for a game, they lose 1/16th of that year's salary. So they are not paid for practices, either. The players do get separate bonuses for post season games, but I think that is paid by the league.

As for me, I would rather watch the cheerleaders than the NFL players. I am a connoisseur of women with exquisite feminine beauty. BUT, if there were no cheerleaders, who would notice? If there were no NFL, where would these young ladies be? Ministering to the sick? Building suspension bridges? Teaching advanced calculus? They would be on a platform with $20 bills hanging out of their underwear. And they are a dime a dozen. Am I wrong?

The only thing more useless than cheerleaders are those people who “look” at your receipt when you leave Costco.

From time to time, I sit close enough to see the cheerleaders up close and personal. It’s not a pretty sight. Hard boned, excessive make up and silicone enhancements are on parade. Their routines are uninspiring and set piece. I do not like them, Sam I am.

They have decent bodies, but they wear about a quarter inch of makeup. Thank God I am the living embodiment of Adonis...
