John Boehner: Benghazi Select Committee 'Not Going To Be A Circus'

House Speaker John Boehner explained to reporters Wednesday morning that he considers the select committee's investigation into the terrorist attacks in Benghazi a very serious matter.

“This is all about getting to the truth. This is not going to be a sideshow. This is not going to be a circus. This is a serious investigation,” Boehner said.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has demanded that, for the sake of fairness, the committee be evenly split between Republicans and Democrats.

Democrats will ENSURE it’s a circus. That is their goal.

The whole headline sounds like Gowdy is Boehner’s much needed and very able puppet master on this.

The dems will do their best to make it a circus, complete with filibusters instead of questions, tirades accusing republicans of racism, walkouts, antics to disrupt serious questioning. Devoid of legitimacy, the left always falls back on disruption. Count on a circus, at least half the time. Despite Gowdy's best efforts, the five rat members will act like hostile juvenile delinquents.

And thank God for that. But Boner also doesn't need to make any sort of defensive statements, or say anything that even hints that the Dims attempt to portray this as a circus or sideshow is even worthy of a response.

Attack 20 months of Obama and Hillary and Democrat lying, stonewalling and covering up and don't respond to any MSM or Dim attempts to cheapen the need for the select committee.
