Will your doctor be blacklisted? There are 23 words in Obamacare that haven't gotten much attention -- but should scare every doctor and every patient.
Obamacare allows the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to blacklist any physician or other practitioner that doesn't practice health care the way the government wants health care practiced. Here is what the law says under Section 1311(h) titled "QUALITY IMPROVEMENT": "Beginning on January 1, 2015, a qualified health plan may contract with...
(B) a health care provider only if such provider implements such mechanisms to improve health care quality as the Secretary may by regulation require." [Emphasis added.]
If the Secretary of HHS decides that a provider isn't implementing "such mechanisms to improve health care quality," POOF! That doctor, that dentist, that chiropractor, or any other clinician can be shut down, kicked completely out of the health insurance system. One day they could see 30 patients. The next day, zero.
What kind of mechanisms might these be? Required "mechanisms to improve health care quality" could include requirements to comply with government-issued treatment protocols, use the cheapest treatments and the oldest medications, use global budgets to ration care, limit care for elderly and disabled, and weigh the individual patient's needs against the needs of government-defined "populations."

The Institute of Industrial Engineers started up training for lean engineering and six sigma principles in the healthcare environment. They’ve been training people to profit off this as soon as it was known.
Conversely, there are hospitals bringing in Six Sigma black belts and naming one as a full time staffer. All other doctors and nurses and support staff get a yellow belt or black belt.
This serves two purposes. First, the hospital can show a quality improvement metric based on the number of people or percentage who completed the training. Second, management meetings and metrics analysis is now “quality improvement” that doesn’t count against the limited overhead percentage set by Obamacare. Now having six sigma labels slapped on everything keeps you in the narrow with Obamacare and lets a lot of management work get done without counting against the organization.

Hi Diana, I am afraid and frustrated that there appears to be no movement by our legislators to stop this mess that is Obamacare.
I also am concerned about what you said that the Doctors will be used for confiscation of children from families the Government doesn’t approve of because they don’t toe the Government line.
If this doesn’t give pause to DONATE to Freeper I don’t know what does.

I don’t think people should be too concerned about doctors asking invasive questions. That’s because, the good ones will be out of business, and the bad ones working for the government won’t be with seeing.
