CONCORD, NC, May 7, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The home improvement television network HGTV has canceled a proposed reality show after a left-wing website printed an “exposé” of the evangelical stars' pro-life, pro-family activism.

Flip It Forward, scheduled to debut on Home and Garden Television this October, would feature brothers David and Jason Benham helping down-on-their-luck families purchase a dream home they thought they could never afford. “In each episode, the guys help a deserving family find a fixer-upper and transform it into their forever home - with a healthy dose of sibling rivalry between the brothers along the way,” HGTV announced.

Norman Lear's People for the Communist Way is behind the attack on these people helping people.

Norman Lear's rule is that Only Communists need apply...

I am sure Norman Lear is helping fund the armed aggression in the Ukraine, and I am sure Norman Lear will have Putin become a good DRUG SUPPLIER for Hollywood DRUGGEES...

Since HGTV seems to market itself to women and gay men, I can understand why they did this.

I think HG now stands for something other than “Home and Garden”!

So, discrimination is a bad thing... Unless you are discriminating against someone who is pro life, pro family, pro gun, or Christian. Check. Got it liberals, or should I say bigoted hypocrites?

I know the Benham brothers. They are very vocal about their pro-life positions. They personally fund many efforts to rescue the unborn.

They are also vocal in their belief in Jesus as the Savior.

I seriously doubt left wingers had to “expose” their pro-life, pro-family views. If you are around either of them for a few minutes, you are fully aware of their beliefs.

Well, there will grow a conservative ‘black market industry’ that will arise to take advantage of the labor. Those with the correct view will become second class citizens, but remember that throughout history, decent people have often been second class citizens.

Same reason they went after allowing gay scouts into troops. At first the said they weren’t trying to allow gay scout masters after many of the concerned parents protested. They only backed off so they could ensure that they could get the BSA to allow gay scouts. Well now guess what? You guessed it. They are trying to get the BSA to allow gay scout leaders despite what they said earlier. Anyone with half a brain can see why the events transpired the way they did; to gain a foothold to accomplish their real goal. An entire herd for harvesting for the sodomites.

HGTV is based in Nashville, TN (not exactly the Gay capital of anything).

It does stand for Home and Garden and is owned by Scripps Broadcasting.

I believe they would be interested mainly in making money...

Were all virtual Nazis to him

He worships humanism

To my knowledge he was not raised a red diaper baby by Bolshie immigrant parents and was a WWII combat vet in B-17s

He just decided to be a Godless traditional values hating schmuck on his own

People are now seeing that the gays didn’t want just ‘equality’ - they mean to silence any and all who do not bow down to them.

People loosing their livelihoods - not allowed their own beliefs.

The gays were never so discriminated against. they were allowed to hold heir beliefs - ans they certainly expressed them! And they weren’t hounded of of their jobs.

there needs to be some big law suits - They’re on a roll and will wreck havoc - remember - they even go back years and pick up one phrase you may have said 20 years ago (anti-gay or perceived racist) - and you are done for. And these actions will only be taken against whites and Christians.

Left’s motto is “if the taxpayers can’t be screwed over for a service, then it’s unacceptable”. Honestly, these brothers were putting people into homes without taxpayer asssistance? No Section 8 housing? No forced bank approval of people who can’t afford something?

"If this HGTV meaning Home and Garden TV has woodworking, home improvement and the like..."

It is mostly fake reality shows about shopping for houses. A typical storyline has Bob and Fred looking for a home to raise their children -- and I am not joking.

In reality, they are not buying a house, but they are reenacting a dramatized version of a recent purchase.

From what I’ve read, these brothers won’t be losing their livelihood—the joke’s on HGTV and the homosexuals. The reason they were going to do the show was because they are well established multi-business-wise and wanted to help those who didn’t have a decent house.

Yup. I've seen Property Brothers and some other fix-it shows. They occasionally have some good home improvement ideas, but they seem to make a point of foisting same-sex "couples" on viewers. I just hit delete the moment I see it.

I used to watch HGTV often because I love seeing fabulous homes I couldn’t afford in a million years. But then I started noticing the overwhelming number of gays. One of the shows is called House Hunters featuring individuals and couples looking at homes to buy or sometimes rent. The show began featuring two male or two female buyers. They were never called gay or a couple, but it was obvious they were. You don’t buy a 3 bedroom house, but use only one of the bedrooms as a bedroom for two people.

Eventually, the show became less subtle about the buyers’ sexual orientation. It’s irritating to see two prospective home buyers of the same sex being referred to as a “couple.”

The Eiching of society continues.

Brings the following to mind:

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

What will really motivate HGTV will be to let cable providers know that we would prefer not to subsidize gay-fascist propaganda with our monthly cable bills and insist that HGTV be unbundled from basic cable packages.

In the meantime perhaps HGTV can replace this with a reality show about a gay pedophile ring running an abortion clinic in a mosque.

That’s something I am concerned with. I haven’t had cable or anything like that for years. I’m building a new house now, and putting a small suite downstairs to rent because we have a zero vacancy rate here. The suite won’t have it’s own power or anything, it’s all going to be included. If I don’t put in cable, they would probably ask for it. Yet I don’t want to give them money. I’m open for suggestions.

Go to your local satellite store and work with the sales personnel there to come
up with an option for the tenant to have Cable and internet installed.
You can present the Satellite deal to any potential candidate beforehand.
You also don't want strangers on your net connection for legal reasons.
