5/8/2014 - DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. — A suspicious individual was reported near Building 706 at approximately 11:00 a.m. here.
As a precautionary measure, base officials implemented base lockdown procedures and instructed all personnel to shelter in place.
“The safety of our people is our top priority,” said Col. Randy Huiss, 436th Airlift Wing vice wing commander. “We take this report very seriously and are taking the necessary precautions to investigate this matter.”

“Lockdown” is an old term applied only to prisons. The political/regulator class projects its desire for insurrection through its sponsored media, including tertiary Web outlets. The same class fears the remainder of the default process (no money and time, no more information or political control).
That is pathetic (as usual). Our military should never cower in fear of anyone or anything. Open/concealed carry should be at will on all military bases, and the base should be willing and able to call out all willing volunteers as needed for security.
