Yeah, and about this time in 2010, Harry Reid was behind a yet to be determined Republican challenger by 40% to 60%. Then Kamikaze Conservatives got behind the only person in Nevada that could loose to Dirty Harry. Yep. Republicans somehow find a way of fumbling on the opponent’s one yard line. They blew it in Nevada. They blew it in Missouri. They blew it in Delaware.
Landrieu could have a 2% approval ranting and I wouldn’t count it in the (R) column. Until the republicans actually win a seat, I don’t count it.
Not really. This is the thinking the GOPe is counting on. I used to think that way, but no longer. Anytime a "normal" human gets an opportunity to stand up against an establishment creep it is victory whether they win or not. Continue to lick that RINO boot you may get somewhere. I have not the taste for it.
Well, not exactly - they need to win. 1 seat can mean the difference, for example, as to whether a policy like Obamacare gets passed or doesn't pass - and yeah, that's a huge difference.
