Nearly 1,000 Bags of Heroin Seized During Greenfield Traffic Stop May 9th, 2014

GREENFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — A Westfield man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop overnight in Greenfield.

Greenfield Police says that just after 12:00 a.m. Friday, an officer saw a car make a turn from Woodard Road to Colrain Street without making a complete stop at a stop sign.

The officer pulled the car over a short time later, and identified that the passenger was a suspected Heroin dealer.

Following a brief investigation, police say that officers allegedly found 967 bags containing what is suspected to be Heroin, three grams of marijuana, a marijuana grinder, and other items.

The total weight of the Heroin is approximately 96.7 grams.

Investigators arrested Antonio Rivera, 27, of Westfield on charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (subsequent offense) and trafficking Heroin.

Police explain that Rivera has been convicted once before on possession of a Class A substance, and has one additional open charge.

The driver was also cited with a ticket for civil infractions.

A clerk magistrate set bail for Rivera at $3,500.

The quality, supply, and costs of opiates are something that none of us have previously seen in our life times. The supply of heroin is so big, that it can be purchased easier and cheaper than buying beer. It is now so pure it can be snorted. This can not be happening with out some level of government complicity. It isn't grown here. The cartels are running the show. They all have blood on their hands. Many children won't stand a chance. Take care of your families. Semper Vigilus.

Obama's bizarre use of the American military to support the Muslim Brotherhood, has been well documented by famed author Seymour Hersch. http://www.lrb.co.uk/v36/n08/seymour-m-hersh/the-red-line-and-the-rat-line

It isn't so bizarre when you remember that the Muslim Brotherhood is cartel for the $multi Billion heroin trade.

It is consistent with the Justice Departments support of murderous Sinaloa cartels, providing dangerous criminals with an arsenal of weapons in Fast and Furious, was just of many offenses by the Justice Department. Wall Street banks are laundering $billions, and are complicit with the cartels, and they act with impunity. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/apr/03/us-bank-mexico-drug-gangs

Following a brief investigation, police say that officers allegedly found 967 bags containing what is suspected to be Heroin,...

Reporters are idiots. Police don't know if they found suspected heroin or not? Really? It might allegedly be heroin at this point, but surely the find itself is not alleged.

Wow another driver was randomly stopped this week in Philly, with 13,000 bags of heroin in his car!

“More than 13,000 bags of heroin were seized and a driver held on $1.3 million cash bail Wednesday night after members of the Governor’s Task Force stopped his car in Claymont for several moving violations, state police said Thursday.

Luis A. Garcia Valle, 22, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, failure to maintain a lane, failure to use a turn signal and using an electronic communications device while driving, said Cpl. John Day.

Why was the bail set so low? That is chump change for a drug dealer.

Yes, it is very odd that there are two nearly identical news stories.

Heroin = Crime and Death

I don’t care what happens to the filth that sells it. Go ahead and cut off their hands.

Hard to believe that .21 pounds could make 1000 bags.

Maybe that's the pure weight before it gets cut with fillers.

On a purely philosophical level, I have no problem with a jackass over the age of twenty-one killing himself with drugs or alcohol. I note, however, that it seems someone or some group is flooding the country with cheap opiates. This can only be an assault on the weak or stupid but the blow-back might be a bit “active” until the Darwin effect is complete.

Why, he's a "Westfield man," according to the article.

Just like Don Pardo, the television voice and personality, and "notable person" of Westfield, Massachusetts. No difference at all. Shame on you for thinking anything else. /s
