Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin scolded Republican operatives for bragging about victories over tea party candidates following a first round Tuesday of 2014 GOP primaries that saw establishment candidates prevail.

After Republican establishment candidates trounced conservative challengers, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee wrote a lengthy retort on her Facebook page Wednesday.

"Congratulations to candidates in yesterday's small pool of state primary elections who will now move on to their respective general elections," Palin wrote in her post.

"Now, knock off the gloating," she wrote, referring to a report by Breitbart citing a series of boasting tweets and statements by GOP establishment operatives trumpeting their glee.

I do not have a good feeling about Nov 2014 based on my own disgust of the GOP-e and past threats of "Who else ya gonna vote for" with McLame and Mittens.

Palin is right.

The thing is, she is also somewhat on the sidelines.

Palin you are far above any other person in US politics today. However please consider you would have much more influence on our political system as a CANDIDATE.

Just saying. Please think about this.

She’s right about the GOP.

The elite smirk. Regardless of party, when they dodge a bullet, they smirk.

Change is coming, methinks. “The base” - by which I mean hardworking conservatives - will not be smirked at forever.

Some day, maybe conservatives are going to realize they need to band together to put forth THE best candidate who has a chance to upset an incumbent Republican in these primaries, instead of allowing multi-way popularity ego contests to divide the conservative vote. Just wait and see what happens in Linda Graham’s primary if you need proof of this.

“Deal” cried the losers while the winner’s telling jokes.

I see and hear a lot of gloating and calling names (RINO, etc.) from some on the right when THEY win. It’s human nature.

Every faction of the conservative persuasion has to learn one thing: You win some, you lose some.

A lot of folks on FR say they’ll walk away from the political game if they can’t win every time.

But if you take your money home and quit the game, you can never recover. You’re just a permanent loser.

Sarah is right, as usual, but it’s going to take more than one grown-up to make a difference. I think she ought to be running the party instead of Reince Priebus, as if that could ever happen. There is a desperate need for a hockey mom to kick some serious a$$.

Yep, RINO’s don’t care if they are the majority or minority; All they wanna do is stay in DC and continue their lives of fame and fortune.

Saying we win some, we lose some isn’t necessarily the case with Republicans. We may WIN an election - but if it’s a RINO, there’s NO difference. They side with the democrats most of the time anyway.

Can we PURGE the Republican party of RINOS? Is such a thing possible??? If not, then what?

We have been trying to purge for years now and it isn't working. TEA Party has a difficult time matching or even coming close to the millions poured into GOP-e reelection campaigns.

IMHO the only way to fix the District of Corruption is Article V. To me it makes no difference if the RATS are in power of the GOP-e. Neither party is going to curb their powers they have granted themselves over 235+ years. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE STATES AND LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS.
