Amtrak train en route from Boston to Washington.

It was the second accident involving an Amtrak train in Connecticut this week. An Amtrak Acela Express struck and killed a man in Groton on Monday.

Were they accidents or suicides, do you really accidently stand on train tracks? I would think it take a conscious act, so is it really an accident or death by stupidity?

Just had a cartoonish image run through my head where a train sucker punches a chump, and he flies backwards, moonwalking in the air to the sound Goofy makes when he falls.

This is the same station where grandstanding Senator “Dirty” Dick Blumenthal almost got nailed by an Amtrak train, a few weeks ago.
