Forget Benghazi. Clinton’s Real Problem Is Obama Fatigue
New York Times ^ | May 8, 2014 | by Brendan Nyhan

The latest investigation into the Benghazi attack reminds us that the issue isn’t going away any time soon. Pundits are already speculating about potential damage to Hillary Clinton’s presidential prospects, but don’t believe the hype: Scandals rarely matter much in presidential election campaigns.

A far more significant threat to her potential candidacy is Americans’ desire for new leadership after eight years of the Obama administration.

Scandals rarely matter much in presidential election campaigns.

Especially when the sack of crap in the middle of the scandal is a 'RAT.

At least the NYTwits admit the happenings surrounding the Ben Ghazi attack are a scandal.

Propagandist deflection.

TREASON - continuous, IN-YOUR-FACE, agenda-driven, agency-abetted, representative-enabled, MEDIA-COMPLICIT, ongoing...

Funny how the NYT doesn't recognize the threat to its own existence as a result of Americans' desire for accurate reporting.

Ut, oh----Hillary had a "premature enunciation" (snark).

Hillary Clinton Again Calls Benghazi ‘Biggest Regret’ as Secretary of State
wall street journal, 4/23/14 / FR Posted by Sub-Driver

BOSTON – Hillary Clinton reiterated Wednesday that her darkest time as secretary of state was the deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Mrs. Clinton, in a speech to more than 3,000 people at a women’s leadership conference here, called the attack and loss of lives “very, very painful” and “certainly the biggest regret that I have as secretary of state.” She noted that she had taken responsibility for security at the diplomatic outpost, where Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died, and had pledged to do everything she could to ensure a similar tragedy won’t happen again. =================================================

THE WOMAN WHO WOULD BE PRESIDENT Hillary Clinton is now decrying the infamous kidnapping of 300 Nigerian schoolgirls, but she never mentioned that her State Department (which she ruled w/ an iron hand)---- refused to place the savage "Boko Haram" terrorist group on the State Dept list of foreign terrorist organizations...... way back in 2011, after the group bombed UN headquarters in Abuja.

Hillary's refusal came despite the urging of the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, and over a dozen Senators and Congressmen.

“The one thing she could have done, the one tool she had at her disposal, she didn’t use. And nobody can say she wasn’t urged to do it. It’s gross hypocrisy,” said a former senior U.S. official who was involved in the debate.

“The FBI, the CIA, and the Justice Department really wanted Boko Haram designated, they wanted the authorities that would provide to go after them, and they voiced that repeatedly to elected officials.” (Excerpt) Read more at thedailybeast.com ...

Hillary refused to place the savage "Boko Haram" terrorist group on the State Dept list of foreign terrorist organizations.....and today puts on her best "outrage act" over the kidnapped girls.

====================================

THE COVER-UP BEGINS Hillary's whining before Congress: "what difference does it make" was the start of the cover-up. Who can forget Obama and Hillary's love fest on CBS' 60 Minutes?

Obomba hustled Hillary on 60 Minutes to gaze in adoration,
after Hill's arrogant dismissal of the Benghazi massacre before
Congress. I thought sure Obama was gonna give 'er a B/J on
broadcast tv....he was THAT grateful.

For sure CBS will give Hill ample airtime so that she emerges pure and virginal for 2016. CBS will kneel in obeisance and give her 2-3 segments to explain it all away.....the word "Republicans" is already forming on those forgetful lips.

After carrying Barry’s tiny jock strap for eight years the NYT is fatigued. No energy to carry Hillary’s.

Actually the NYT is half right. Obama fatigue is a problem for Hillary. But they are half wrong due to the fact that they, unlike we Freepers, can't walk and chew gum at the same time. In fact I can walk on Obama Fatigue and chew on Hillary's Benghazi Legacy quite easily.

Apparenty the NYT can't.

Now THAT is possible. Like I’ve said (reasonably alone on this one) Benghazi goes nowhere. The IRS mess is DOA. Issa and the GOP has so utterly screwed up these that it is beyond reason. My office (Prosecutor) wouldn’t have hired a one of the morons involved in this investigation.

However, Obama fatigue? We may be on to something here.

H*****y’s biggest regret was that the deal they made with the terrorists went sour.

I don't think Sarah Palin is a good choice. I'm not dissing her ability to be a great president. Too many women resent her independences and appeal. On some level, they'd see hillary or Warren as less of a threat (sad but true)

I'm concerned that everyone across the political spectrum is so fed up that someone who promises to shake things up, and maybe is a little too unhinged to do the job, could become the next president. ( I'm not saying who I have in mind who that could be).

“Damnit! We’re paying you people at The New York Times to provide cover for the Democrat Party! Now get out there and write some more stories about how great everything is going with Obama as the President. Or maybe you’d like to give up those fancy cars and Mexican vacations?”

It is impossible to forget Benghazi because the ambassador was murdered along with at least three abandoned military personnel. The American people were lied to about what the administration actually knew had happened. Then the White House conspired to cover up the story for crass political purposes and to avoid further blame. It is tragic that the lessons of Watergate escape the democrats who persecuted Nixon for his cover-up. Shameful. Someone should really be held accountable.Obama does not have the moral fiber to resign, as he should. So he should be impeached and tried.

That's the unharnessed evil within the Obama administration.

I agree with that premise. Additionally she is old and sick and looks like shite. The young folks are gravitating to Rand Paul. Benghazi will be a continuing nightmare for her and who knows what hijinks Billy Jeff has been up to since he left office.

I predict Andrew Cuomo will be the 2016 Democratic nominee for President. Not Hillary.

Hillary was part of the Benghazi mess - so YES it does matter... What does Brendan Nyhan think Hillary's going to run on?

That she 'married well'?

That she knows how to push around powerless women (sluts and nuts) that her husband took advantage of?

That she was able to blame conservatives by calling them the 'vast right wing conspiracy' when they dared to call her husband on his lies? And yes, Clinton WAS lying...

Maybe Hillary and Nyhal think 'connections' and the ability to lie and bully people are the same as accomplishments?

Sorry, but it appears Brendan Nyhan's one more democrat butt kisser. He's been handed the newest 'in fashion' idea from the 'cool' democrats and he's rewritten them. Expect to see this meme all over the MSM....

Forget Benghazi? HELL NO!

Clinton’s real problem is that the American people are damn sick and tired of all the LIEberal crap that has been forced upon us!

Obama fatigue; Democrat fatigue; LIEberal fatigue; Clinton fatigue; overbearing government fatigue; IRS fatigue; and snoopy federal bureaucracy fatigue only begin to scratch the surface.

We’d bast change a bunch of dirty diapers in WDC in November!
