tcrlaf I think you are partially correct. However, you & I both know he is running for Ukraine President! So... ‘politico’ speak.
However, he is trying to rally the citizens to get their act together & defend their homeland! “They have to live there, after all.”

He does want to lead his battalion though! Personally, I think he is a little arrogant... with 40-60,000 Russian troops ready to march across border.
