Well it seems the President is still trying to keep up appearances. This week the Obama administration completed the installation of new solar panels on top of the White House.
It was almost 30 years ago that Reagan removed the solar panels that Jimmy Carter had built on top of the president’s residence, but shockingly enough, President Obama has once again ruined everything Reagan created. This is a reminder to the American people that President Obama is supposed to be a big proponent of stopping climate change.
According to a White House spokesman,
“Continuing President Obama’s commitment to lead by example to increase the use of clean energy in the U.S., the White House has completed installation of American-made solar panels on the first family’s residence as a part of an energy retrofit that will improve the overall energy efficiency of the building.
The project, which helps demonstrate that historic buildings can incorporate solar energy and energy efficiency upgrades, is estimated to pay for itself in energy savings over the next eight years.”
Apparently this is just one of the many steps Obama plans to take in order to make voters think that he is truly dedicated to helping the environment. He might as well be saying to the people, “Remember, I am not a lame duck!”
Seems like it would be wiser to outfit Michelle with panels...

He should put propellor things around the white hut. The wind coming from his mouth could supply the electric for all of DC. He could also have one of those propellor beanies on his head to complete his wardrobe.
It seems to me that just about everything this affirmative-action clown does says “send me to prison...NOW!”
This is like vandalizing the Whitehouse. Big black panels on the roof makes no sense. There was a reason they were taken down.
He probably got them from Solyndra, so at least we got something for the $500,000,000 he spent.

So is he also going to rip out all those evil central cooling /heating air systems? Maybe they can hire some Dreamer interns to fan the first family with palm fronds. Is the Pres. also going to remove all the mouse and rat traps and (non-green) strychnine rodent treats? Set the rodents free like you and me!
In other words, Reagan saved us billions of dollars for a few panels.
History repeats itself. And Obama passes out Solar Power tax breaks like they were cookies.
Now about that Rancher that they're persecuting. I believe the end game for that is Solar Power.
More and more like Jimmy every day.
When he dumps “The Beast” presidential tank for a Nissan LEAF, I’ll be impressed.
So has he retrofitted his humble digs in Chicago?
