Boehner Secretly Plotting to Stab Gun Owners in the Back
Gun Owners of America ^ | May 1, 2014 | Gun Owners

Posted on 05/10/2014 2:54:48 PM PDT by ObamahatesPACoal

In a closed-door meeting of wealthy contributors in Las Vegas, House Speaker John Boehner said he was “hell-bent on getting [anti-gun immigration amnesty] done this year.”

And earlier this week, the Speaker viciously mocked conservative Republicans for opposing him on this issue.

The wily Boehner had led his conservative Republican members to believe the issue was shelved for the year. Now it appears that Boehner is simply planting a trap for Republicans and gun owners -- springing this Obama-backed proposal when it’s too late to primary anti-gun Republican amnesty supporters.

Hopefully he will be replaced by someone better ASAP

Who's gonna be his Dem opponent in his district in the general. Is it a bad idea to cross over and vote him into the seat and do away with Bohner?

This is one area where the liberals RUN CIRCLES AROUND US.

They can understand the long-term. We have the NRA that will endorse Harry Reid because he voted right a few times on guns. But he’s also leading the way to give the Dems a LOCK on power for generations, via amnesty. That SHOULD count in scoring people on guns, for once the Dems get complete control of the Courts and Congress it is simply GAME OVER for us.

[ so I have always believed that there are people who have for decades wanted to slowly but inexorably disarm white, Christian, America. and they still are. but, the hysteria of gun control we have seen in the last few years tells me the rulers know the crap is about to hit the fan and this will be one way to reduce the carnage. ]

You are wrong, they think it will reduce the carnage on THEIR SIDE when they seize power which will enable tohem to hold onto more of their power.

It is not about reducing the civilian carnage, they don;t want civilians to rise up against them.

and i wouldn’t disagree. i was just thinking more along the lines of the sudden urgency of gun control, leading me to believe something bad is coming.

See above at post #9 from Jim:
In 1986, Ronald Reagan signed an immigration amnesty bill for about 3 million illegals. It was supposed to be accompanied by new enforcement measures — which never happened. Instead, the prospect of citizenship only attracted over ten million new illegals. And those granted amnesty in 1986 turned California from a “swing state” into an anti-gun nightmare.

A Pew poll from last year indicated that if illegal immigrants were given citizenship, they would vote for liberal, anti-gun candidates by an 8-to-1 margin.

Put 233 Red dots on a wall. Put 199 Blue dots on a wall.

Go and remove 5 blue dots for Mike McIntyre, Matheson, Murphy, Barber and Tierney.

Replace them with 5 red dots. You have 238 Red dots.

Now go pick Boehner, Ellmers, Denham, Coffman and Cantor. Throw those red dots on the ground. Replace them with blue dots. You still have a GOP majority.

I've been thinking along those lines. The assault on middle American's gun ownership is more than hysterical. It has a heated urgency that is over the top for simple philosophical differences.....unless there is a more ulterior motive behind it. Which, IMO there is.

They are only coming after our weapons because they are planning on coming after us. Call me paranoid, I call it my survival instinct.

Not at all. He's morphed into a cancerous cell in the body politic. Not only will it remove the cancerous cell, it will tighten the sphincter of any RINO Republican quislings who manage to survive the November election, and *this* will put a damper on any lame-duck Johnny's hijinks he may be planning between November and the swearing-in of the next Congress.

I agree with you. The people elected to office KNOW what is coming; i.e. taking them out of their offices naked etc. Like the rest of us they do not know precisely when. We need just about 10% of the proper demographic acting together.

Boner has been a tremendous disappointment ( perhaps especially to those of us who rather liked him and thought he’d do his job).

The man has worked against Conservatism for the past twenty years. Who helped mastermind the GOP-E takeover of the party back in 1996? Yeap it was him indeed. His helper? A name likely very few remember. Former Congressman Bill Paxon and Boehner held a meeting to try and unseat Newt from the Speaker position. {Side note: Paxon's wife former Congresswoman Susan Molinari was keynote speaker at the 1996 GOP Convention. Remember that Freak Show of Liberalism?}

John Boehner has been the GOP-E Stooge for twenty years. No wonder there was a huge push to make him Speaker Of The House.

Hopefully he will be replaced by someone better ASAP

Hopefully his career in congress will end when hopefully he looses his congressional office in the general election. He won the primaries. The next hope to be once and for all rid of him is in the General Election.

That is correct. If we couldn’t possibly deport a mere eleven million illegals, what could they hope to do about a couple hundred million guns in private hands? That will get very nasty, very fast.
