Monica Lewinsky has returned, and it's a good thing. She's a smart, thoughtful woman who deserves to be able to take her life back from those who prefer she stay silent, and stay away.
I'm sure there's nothing more irritating to Hillary Clinton than those you use and abandon who actually survive and return, determined to tell their story.
Ms. Lewinsky has re-emerged with an essay she's written for Vanity Fair, which appears in its June issue, but excerpts released on the Web are already causing Mrs. Clinton's supporters to go ballistic.
In the article, Ms. Lewinsky says it's time to stop "tiptoeing around my past — and other people's futures."
"I am determined to have a different ending to my story. I've decided, finally, to stick my head above the parapet so that I can take back my narrative and give a purpose to my past. (What this will cost me, I will soon find out.)"
Good for her. She knows there will be a price to pay, because the same rotten core that drives Mrs. Clinton, compelling her to enable her husband all these years, has only become more craven....

His best bud, Sid Blumenthal, designed the war room strategy to present her as a vile stalker (not a victim of a sex freak). He was stupid enough to tell Hitchens about it, who was appalled. He immediately reported it to the press and to Ken Starr. It stopped THAT strategy immediately although the press turned on Hitchens. Maureen Dowd called him “Hitch the Snitch.” His personal life was made public (a bad marriage) and his former best friends talked about his drinking and his supposed homosexuality.
Hitchens wrote a book about it called “No One Left to Lie To,” which he autographed for me years ago.
I guess no one remembers an impeachment rally in 1998 - one attended by some freepers - in which Hitchens spoke while sucking on a vodka bottle.
I remember the impeachment rally, I just have zero recollection of Hitchen’s presence there. Thanks for filling in the blanks for me.
She made lousy choices but is not stupid, and makes a number of very good points in this article. She probably lacks the credibility to be a factor, but her presence and unwillingness to sit down and shut up could keep the seedy side of the Clinton hegemony and Hillary’s key role in covering it up and throwing women under the Clinton Bus may be significant.

No, Hillary does not fear Monica. If Ms. Lewinsky had stayed in the background until the 2016 campaign and then spoken up about the “nuts+sluts” routine Mrs. Clinton pulled on all of Bill’s dalliances that would have been something to fear.
What’s happening now is Kabuki theater. Any reporter with a little motivation could track down the Clinton ally or flunky who convinced Monica to surface now, so that in two years the whole story would be “old news”.

Tammy, you are not as astute as I thought you were.
1) Nothing smart about this bimbo, and
2) I see the work of the Clinton machine in Lewinsky’s sudden reappearance, especially since it is in “Vanity Fair”.
Not sure what their plan is, but I suspect it goes something like:
When Hitlery runs, the question of Lewinsky is bound to come up. Can’t hide it. So let’s bring Lewinsky front and center and approach the story head-on and turn it to our advantage.
My synopsis is bolstered by a story I saw here within the past few days that describes a rumor that BJ plans to publicly apologize to Lewinsky and to Hitlery.
This was coordinated with the Clintons. It is a pre-emptive strike to get it out of the way so that in 2016 Hillary can claim “That’s old news!”
That’s my take too - revenge time for Monica.
The only other thing that comes to mind when I think of Hillary; HOW ON EARTH COULD ***ANYBODY** THINK SHE’S QUALIFIED ??????
I find it astonishing, it’s as though the masses are in some drug induced trance where they’re shown Hillary being Mother Theresa. If this is the “best” that we can put into the White House, this nation is in serious trouble.

I think the evidence is very clear that Bubba’s many adulterous encounters happened in conjunction with the Hildebeast’s infidelity….even if one was to believe that there was no other man (or woman) involved.
I call “squirrel” on this one. I don’t think Hillary has anything to do with this. I think this is Team Obama trying to deflect from the Benghazi disaster that is unfolding. Hillary just conveniently got run over by the bus.... again.
