There is a bit of naivete here. The "Diversity" Cult has never been about respecting the meaningful differences among people. It is the American & Western European Left's method of undermining the actual diversity of nations, communities, etc.. It has the same effect as the Stalinist forced settlement of ethnic Russians in other parts of the former Soviet Domain, in order to break up the possibility of effective resistance to Communist tyranny.

The social disintegration, today, in parts of the Ukraine, is the obvious result.

There are a number of Leftist motives for this sort of result. Stalin's was obvious. But a more common one in the West is the breakdown of National identity & pride to break up the natural resistance to a "World Government." Another is the compulsive egalitarian war on the reality of actual human differences. By falsely pretending to embrace those differences, those preaching political correctness have achieved the exact opposite result.
