Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss talks to FOX News' Mike Huckabee about the importance of teaching the constitution and American exceptionalism.
"We were responsible for the greatest revolution in the history of civilization. We gave to 98% of the human race freedoms that they have been lashed for, lost fingers for or had their heads chopped off for and we gave it to them for free and we are the most revolutionary nation that has ever been and ever will be and we don't know enough about our constitution or our history to know why we should be proud of it," Dreyfuss said on FOX News' "Huckabee."
"Whenever you hear someone say American exceptionalism [doesn't exist], you should turn to that person and say, 'if you don't prove that statement, I'm going hit you right in the mouth.' Because they don't prove it, and they can't," Dreyfuss said.

So he’s officially “gotten it”?
I’m speechless to be honest.....
All revolution and political conflict in history has basically been about which group, party or person would have the right and power to dominate everybody else.
Only the American Revolution set up a system where the people would be allowed to live their lives as they wished, dominated by nobody. Primarily by strictly limiting the powers of the government.
That system was never fully implemented, first because groups adding up to a majority of the population were excluded from its full benefits, and then because people started pecking away at it, expanding the power and influence of the government. By definition this allows whoever is in control of the government to dominate over everybody else.
But it is still a shining star, people living their lives as they see fit, dominated by nobody.
The vast majority of Pooblik Skrewl Collective employees are either unaware of American history, let alone “American Exceptionalism” or they are actually opposed to it because they are collectivists.
Therefore, I hereby suggest the following:
SAVE AMERICA - SLAP A TEACHER TODAY

I watched him on Huckabee last night and was shocked! I thought he was WAYYYY left.

Dreyfuss better get ready for a visit from the SS. There is a prominent incompetent so called leader in the free world who doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism.
This was no boating accident! There was a time when he wouldn’t recognize American exceptionalism unless it swam up and bit him in the ass!
Understanding America’s unique place in the history of Civilization is the first step to becoming a Tea Party Conservative.
Perhaps Mr. Dreyfus has learned some actual history lessons in his zeal to someday become a teacher. Time will tell.
