Los Angeles Judge: Where Is Casey Kasem?

A judge on Monday ordered an investigation into the whereabouts of Casey Kasem after an attorney for the ailing radio personality's wife said the former "Top 40" host had been removed from Los Angeles without his children's knowledge.
Superior Court Judge Daniel S. Murphy ordered a court investigator and adult protective services to find out where Kasem is being treated and report back to the court. Kasem, 82, suffers from advanced Parkinson's disease, can no longer speak and has been in various medical facilities chosen by his wife, Jean Kasem.
Casey Kasem's children have complained that they have been unable to see their father in accordance with an agreement with their stepmother.

He’s still alive? When I attended the Defense Information School (DINFOS) we were allowed to watch a film with him as the MC meant for overseas distribution and not normally broadcast in the US since it’s considered propaganda.

Actually, I have a family member this happened to. And IMHO the stepmother was the scary one. As far as I am concerned, his kids rescued him.

Kasem had the racist “Reverend” Jesse Jackson officiate his last wedding. Kasem opposed Proposition 209 (which barred racism and preferential treatment in California state government) and he walked with Jackson against 209 in Sacramento (I was there for a counter rally in favor of 209).
