He will think it's an award.

He will probably invite Juan McCain over to attend the award dinner.

Why don’t they just kick him out of the party and pull
his funding? Obviously he is a lying democrat.

The vote to censure was 39 to 32, yet in 2010 it was unanimous? What changed?

Shocking to see 32 vote against it, but I'm guessing the previous censure vote was just of the Executive Committee ...

The executive committee of the Charleston County Republican Party voted unanimously on Monday to rebuke Mr. Graham “for many of the positions he has taken that do not represent the wishes of the people of South Carolina, such as: passing a ‘cap and trade’ energy bill, bailing out banks and granting amnesty for illegal aliens.” Lin Bennett, the chairwoman of the local party, told the Charleston Post and Courier that party leaders were “fed up.”

Here's more info on the previous vote...

Bennett said the resolution passed unanimously by a voice vote among about 50 of the party's 104 executive committee members.

50 voted last time, 71 this time.

Looks like Graham may have tried to rally the RINO base.

This time it wasn't a blowout, it was close but he still lost.

He should retire and take up horseshoes, where close counts.

Whereas, while entrusted with the office of Senator by the voters of South Carolina, Lindsey Graham has committed a long series of actions that we strongly disapprove of and hold to be fundamentally inconsistent with the principles of the South Carolina Republican Party, among which are the following:

1.Voted to Confirm Obama’s appointment to Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection: In July of 2013, Senator Graham voted with the Democrats to confirm Richard Cordray, a noted leftist promoter of aggressive economic regulation, as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, while Senator Scott voted in opposition.

2.Supported arming Al Qaeda / Muslim Brotherhood Revolutionaries in Syria: In June of 2013, Senator Graham called for supplying American arms to known affiliates of Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria and assistance in the form of a “no-fly zone” and bombing of Syrian airfields.

3.Supported amnesty but not border control: In June of 2013, on the issue of an immigration bill that provides effective amnesty to illegal aliens without taking action to close the border first, Senator Graham joined the Democrats in invoking cloture and supporting the bill while Senator Scott voted in opposition...
